Product Description

Introducing the (H)GWBEB type outdoor high-voltage isolation switch, a marvel in electrical engineering designed for the seamless management of high voltage power transmission and distribution lines. Crafted to perfection for 10(12, 15, 24)kV applications, this isolation disconnect switch allows you to safely open and close single-phase or three-phase circuits under voltage, ensuring efficiency and reliability across your network.

Characterized by simplicity, economic efficiency, and user-friendliness, this switch is a versatile choice for single-phase operations within three-phase line systems. Offering a range of robust rated currents from 200 to 1250 amps, it comprises a solid base, high-quality post insulators, conductive components, and a reliable mechanical section. It employs a gate knife structure for precise circuit control, featuring two conductive blades per phase, equipped with external compression springs on both sides. The spring height can be finely adjusted to achieve optimal contact pressure. Designed for operational ease, the switch can be controlled with an insulated hook stick and includes a self-locking device for enhanced safety.

Working Environment:

The switch thrives in altitudes not exceeding 1000 meters, ensuring broad applicability.

It can withstand a wide range of ambient temperatures, from a toasty +40°C to a chilly -30°C.

Engineered to endure outdoor wind speeds up to 35 meters per second, providing reliability even in blustery conditions.

With a seismic intensity tolerance of up to 8 degrees, the installation site must be free from frequent severe vibrations to ensure longevity and performance.

The installation area must remain free from gases, chemical deposits, salt mist, dust, dirt, and other explosive or corrosive substances that could compromise the switch's insulation and conductivity.

Installation, Use and Adjustment

Pre-installation work

  1. Initiate installation by meticulously removing dust and dirt from all parts, ensuring the insulating porcelain bottle is cleaned to perfection.
  2. Thoroughly scrub the wiring surface of the ground screw, preparing for flawless electrical connectivity.
  3. Apply a generous layer of industrial Vaseline to all rotating parts and contact areas, ensuring smooth operation and longevity.
  4. Inspect the contact surface diligently and adjust the height of the compression spring as per Table II, ensuring optimal contact pressure.
  5. This switch is specifically designed for hoisting applications, ideal for use in conjunction with transformers on the line, enhancing system efficiency.
  6. The switch supports a rated current of 200-400 ampere hours, typically utilizing three mounting holes, with 600-1000A also using three mounting holes for secure installation.

It is essential to perform annual checks on the following components of the switch:
Meticulously remove dirt from conductive parts, contact surfaces, and insulating porcelain bottles to maintain peak performance.

Conduct a thorough inspection of all components, with particular attention to the insulating porcelain bottle, checking for any damage or cracks.

Verify the integrity of the contact surface of the conductive parts, ensuring continued excellence in performance.
