Product Description

The (H)GWBEB type outdoor high-voltage isolation switch, known for its reliable performance, is expertly crafted as an isolation disconnect switch. Tailored for 10(12, 15, 24)kV high voltage power transmission and distribution lines, this device adeptly opens and closes single-phase or three-phase circuits, even with voltage present, albeit under no load.

Engineered for precision, the switch is designed for single-phase operation within three-phase line systems. It features a straightforward design, offering an economical solution and effortless operation. The switch is available in rated currents of 200, 400, 600, 800, 1000, and 1250 amps, ensuring versatility for various applications. Its components include a sturdy base, durable post insulators, conductive elements, and a mechanical section, all working in harmony. The gate knife structure offers seamless circuit control with each phase's gate knife containing two conductive blades, enhanced by external compression springs for optimal contact pressure, adjustable by spring height. The insulated hook stick facilitates smooth opening and closing, complemented by a reliable self-locking mechanism.

Working Environment:

Operates flawlessly at altitudes up to 1000 meters;

Withstands ambient temperatures ranging from a maximum of +40°C to a minimum of -30°C;

Resistant to outdoor wind speeds of up to 35 meters/second;

Designed to tolerate seismic intensities up to 8 degrees, ensuring stability in areas devoid of frequent severe vibrations.

Optimal installation sites are free from gases, chemical deposits, salt mist, dust, dirt, or any explosive or corrosive mediums that could compromise the switch's insulative and conductive integrity.

Installation, Use and Adjustment

Pre-installation work

  1. Thoroughly cleanse all parts of dust and grime, paying special attention to the pristine surface of the insulating porcelain bottle.
  2. Carefully scrub the wiring surface of the ground screw to ensure optimal connectivity.
  3. Apply a protective coat of industrial Vaseline to all rotating parts and contact areas to enhance durability and performance.
  4. Inspect the contact surface meticulously and adjust the compression spring height to meet the standards outlined in Table II, ensuring optimal contact pressure.
  5. This switch is expertly designed for hoisting use and is intended to work seamlessly with transformers along the line, enhancing efficiency and safety.
  6. Available in rated currents of 200-400 ampere hours, typically utilizing three mounting holes, while 600-1000A models also require three mounting holes for secure installation.

Annual Maintenance Checklist:
Diligently remove any accumulated dirt from conductive parts, contact surfaces, and the insulating porcelain bottle exterior to maintain peak performance.

Inspect all components thoroughly for any damage, with special attention to detecting cracks or damage on the insulating porcelain bottle.

Ensure the contact surface of the conductive part is pristine and functions optimally.
