(H)GWBEB type outdoor high-voltage isolation switch, also revered as an isolation disconnect switch, is ingeniously crafted for seamless operation on 10(12, 15, 24)kV high voltage power transmission and distribution lines. This exceptional switch is tailored to elegantly open and close single-phase or three-phase circuits without bearing any load, yet with voltage present, ensuring utmost reliability and performance.
Designed for single-phase applications within three-phase systems, this switch is renowned for its simplistic yet robust structure, offering a cost-effective and user-friendly solution. It boasts a range of available rated currents: 200, 400, 600, 800, 1000, and 1250 amps, making it versatile for various applications. The switch is composed of a sturdy base, durable post insulators, conductive elements, and an efficient mechanical section. It employs a state-of-the-art gate knife structure to seamlessly open and close circuits. Each phase's gate knife is meticulously designed with two conductive blades, enhanced by external compression springs on both sides. The contact pressure for the switch's gate knife is finely tuned by adjusting the spring height. An insulated hook stick is used to operate the switch with ease, complemented by a reliable self-locking device.
Working Environment:
Altitude not exceeding 1000 meters;
Ambient temperature: peak not above +40°C; trough not below -30°C;
Outdoor wind velocity not surpassing 35 meters/second;
Seismic intensity not exceeding 8 degrees; the chosen installation site should remain free from frequent severe vibrations.
The installation environment should be devoid of gases, chemical deposits, salt mist, dust, dirt, or any other explosive or corrosive substances that could significantly impair the switch's insulation and conductivity.
Note:
WHEN THE ABOVE NORMAL USE CONDITIONS ARE EXCEEDED, THE USER IS ENCOURAGED TO DISCUSS WITH THE COMPANY FOR CUSTOMIZED SOLUTIONS.
Installation, Use and Adjustment
Pre-installation work
Conduct a comprehensive annual inspection of the following switch components to maintain optimal performance:
Diligently remove dirt from conductive parts, contact surfaces, and the surface of insulating porcelain bottles to maintain their pristine condition.
Inspect all parts for potential damage, with a special focus on examining the insulating porcelain bottle for any signs of damage or cracks.
Verify that the contact surface of the conductive part remains in optimal condition to ensure seamless connectivity.
