The (H) RW(F) series outdoor high voltage AC drop fuse, henceforth referred to as the 'fuse,' is meticulously designed for outdoor overhead distribution systems operating at a specified frequency of 50Hz and a designated voltage of 10kV (12/15/35/40.5). This versatile component serves as a vital protector for circuits or electrical equipment during power system overloads or short circuit failures. In normal operations, the fuse is seamlessly integrated into the power line, maintaining a tensioned state with its movable joint securely locked. Upon encountering a line failure, the resultant fault current triggers the fuse to blow, thereby releasing the movable joint, promptly dropping the fuse tube and cutting off the circuit. This essential mechanism ensures robust safety protection during maintenance of both lines and equipment. Moreover, this load-type fuse is enhanced with an elastic contact and an arc extinguishing cover, elevating its capability to effectively open and close the load current within the power system.
The fuse is crafted to conform to premier technical standards such as GB / T 15166.3 - 2008, which pertains to high voltage AC fuses - Part 3: injection fuses, and DL / T 640 - 1997, which covers outdoor AC high voltage drop-tested fuses and fuse links under specified ordering technical conditions.
Optimal Working Environment:
Ambient temperature range: from a chilly -40°C to a warm +40°C;
Relative humidity: daily averages not exceeding 95%, with monthly averages capped at 90%;
Altitude should not surpass 3000 meters;
Permitted outdoor wind speed is up to 34 meters per second;
Installation site: must be free from fire or explosion hazards, devoid of chemically corrosive gases, and well-ventilated.
