Engineered for single-phase application within three-phase line systems, this switch is lauded for its simplistic design, affordability, and user-friendliness. Choose from a range of rated currents: 200, 400, 600, 800, 1000, and 1250 amps, all featuring a robust assembly comprising a sturdy base, post insulators, conductive elements, and a mechanical section. Utilizing a sophisticated gate knife structure for circuit operations, each phase's mechanism is equipped with dual conductive blades and adjustable external compression springs. This allows for precise contact pressure calibration to optimize performance. Operate this marvel using an insulated hook stick, and benefit from its built-in self-locking mechanism for enhanced security and assurance.

Installation, Use and Adjustment

Pre-installation work

1. Thoroughly remove any dust and grime from the components, and diligently clean the external surfaces of the insulating porcelain bottles to maintain pristine condition.
2. Ensure the wiring surface of the ground screw is impeccably scrubbed for optimal connectivity.
3. Apply a protective layer of industrial Vaseline to all rotating components and contact points to ensure smooth operation and longevity.
4. Inspect the contact surfaces meticulously and adjust the compression spring height to meet the specifications outlined in Table II, ensuring optimal contact pressure.
5. Exclusively designed for hoisting applications, this switch is a perfect match for use alongside transformers in line systems.
6. This switch accommodates rated currents ranging from 200 to 400 amperes using three mounting holes, with the same configuration suitable for 600-1000A.

Conduct an annual inspection to maintain high performance and safety standards:
Meticulously clean dirt from conductive components, contact surfaces, and insulating porcelain bottle exteriors to ensure impeccable condition.

Examine all parts for potential damage, with particular attention to the insulating porcelain bottle for any signs of cracks or wear.

Verify that the contact surfaces of conductive parts remain in excellent condition, ensuring uninterrupted electrical conductivity.
