Product Description

(H) RW(F) series outdoor high voltage AC drop fuse (hereinafter referred to as "fuse") is a highly reliable protection device designed for outdoor overhead distribution systems operating at a rated frequency of 50Hz and voltage levels of 10kV, 12kV, 15kV, 35kV, and up to 40.5kV. This fuse is an essential safety element for circuits and electrical equipment, ready to spring into action during overloads or short circuit failures in the power system. Under regular conditions, the fuse remains taut and in-line within the power circuit, with its movable joint securely locked. However, when a fault is detected, the resulting fault current triggers the fuse to blow, releasing the joint, swiftly dropping the fuse tube, and effectively interrupting the circuit. This action ensures comprehensive safety protection, facilitating maintenance of both line and equipment. Enhanced with an elastic contact and an arc extinguishing cover, the load type fuse advances beyond the ordinary type, adept at managing the opening and closing of load currents in the electrical system.

The fuse must meet stringent technical standards, including GB / T 15166.3 - 2008 for high voltage AC fuses, specifically Part 3: injection fuses, and DL / T 640 - 1997 for outdoor AC high voltage drop tested fuses and fuse links ordering technical conditions, ensuring quality and reliability.

Working Environment:

Ambient temperature: ranges from a brisk -40°C to a balmy +40°C;

Relative humidity: maintains a daily average not exceeding 95%, with a monthly average not surpassing 90%;

The installation altitude should not surpass 3000 meters above sea level;

Outdoor conditions permit wind speeds up to 34 meters/second;

Installation site: Requires an environment free of fire and explosion hazards, devoid of chemically corrosive gases, and must be well-ventilated.
