Product Description

The (H)GWBEB type outdoor high-voltage isolation switch, also known as the isolation disconnect switch, stands as an engineering marvel tailored for 10(12, 15, 24)kV high voltage power transmission and distribution lines. This switch adeptly manages the opening and closing of single-phase or three-phase circuits, all without a load. Its design ensures seamless operation even when the voltage is present, making it an indispensable component for high-stakes electric management.

Meticulously crafted for single-phase applications in three-phase line systems, this switch is celebrated for its straightforward structure, cost-effectiveness, and user-friendly nature. The switch offers rated currents of 200, 400, 600, 800, 1000, and 1250 amps. It comprises a robust base, durable post insulators, effective conductive components, and a precise mechanical section. The innovative gate knife structure facilitates the opening and closing of the circuit effortlessly. Each phase includes a gate knife with two conductive blades, secured by external compression springs on either side. By adjusting the spring height, the necessary contact pressure for the switch's gate knife is achieved, ensuring reliable operation. The switch is maneuvered with an insulated hook stick, and it includes a self-locking mechanism for enhanced safety and efficiency.

Working Environment:

The switch is designed for altitudes not exceeding 1000 meters.

It can operate in ambient temperatures with a maximum of +40°C and a minimum of -30°C.

The switch withstands outdoor wind speeds not exceeding 35 meters per second.

It is suitable for areas with a seismic intensity of up to 8 degrees; the site must not frequently experience severe vibrations.

The installation site should remain free from gases, chemical deposits, salt mist, dust, dirt, and other explosive or corrosive mediums that could significantly impair the switch's insulation and conductivity.

Installation, Use, and Adjustment

Pre-installation work

  1. Ensure to remove all dust and dirt from components, and meticulously wipe down the surface of the insulating porcelain bottle to ensure optimal performance.
  2. Thoroughly scrub the wiring surface of the ground screw to maintain excellent connectivity.
  3. Apply a protective layer of industrial Vaseline to the rotating parts and contact areas, ensuring smooth operation.
  4. Inspect the contact surface thoroughly and adjust the compression spring's height to align the contact pressure in accordance with Table II.
  5. This switch is engineered exclusively for hoisting use and is designed to be paired with a transformer along the line.
  6. With a rated current of 200-400 ampere hours, this switch typically utilizes three mounting holes, whereas the 600-1000A variants also incorporate three mounting holes.

Annual Maintenance: To ensure optimal performance, conduct regular inspections of the following switch components every year:
Carefully remove any accumulated dirt from conductive parts, contact surfaces, and the insulating porcelain bottle's surface.

Inspect all components for any signs of damage. Pay special attention to the insulating porcelain bottle, checking for damages or cracks that could affect functionality.

Verify the integrity of the conductive part's contact surface, ensuring all connections are secure.
