(H)GWBEB type outdoor high-voltage isolation switch, also known as an isolation disconnect switch, is engineered for the demanding environments of 10(12, 15, 24)kV high voltage power transmission and distribution lines. It offers the precision opening and closing of single-phase or three-phase circuits while maintaining voltage presence, ensuring efficiency and reliability.
Crafted for single-phase application within three-phase line systems, this switch boasts a straightforward design, making it both economical and user-friendly. With rated currents spanning 200, 400, 600, 800, 1000, and 1250 amps, it meets a wide array of operational needs. The construction features a base, post insulators, conductive components, and a mechanical section. A gate knife mechanism efficiently manages circuit operations, with each phase's gate knife incorporating dual conductive blades and external compression springs. Adjusting spring height allows for optimal contact pressure. Operations are conducted with an insulated hook stick, complemented by a self-locking feature for enhanced safety.
Working Environment:
Suited for installations at altitudes not exceeding 1000 meters;
Capable of withstanding ambient temperatures ranging from a chilly -30°C to a sweltering +40°C;
Designed to endure outdoor wind speeds up to 35 meters/second with unwavering performance;
Engineered to withstand seismic intensities up to 8 degrees, provided the location is not prone to frequent severe vibrations;
The installation site must be free from gases, chemical deposits, salt mist, dust, dirt, and other explosive or corrosive mediums that could compromise the switch's insulation and conductivity.
Note:
WHEN THE NORMAL OPERATING CONDITIONS MENTIONED ARE SURPASSED, USERS ARE ENCOURAGED TO DISCUSS ALTERNATIVE SOLUTIONS WITH THE COMPANY.
Installation, Use and Adjustment
Pre-installation work
Ensure rigorous annual inspections of the following switch components:
Clear all dirt from conductive parts, contact surfaces, and the insulating porcelain bottle's surface, maintaining optimal functionality.
Examine every component for potential damage, with a keen focus on identifying any cracks or breaks in the insulating porcelain bottle.
Verify the integrity of the conductive part’s contact surface to ensure flawless operation.
