Product Description

Introducing the (H)GWBEB type outdoor high-voltage isolation switch, an essential component for your power transmission and distribution needs. Known in the industry as an isolation disconnect switch, it is meticulously engineered for seamless operation on 10(12, 15, 24)kV high voltage lines. Perfectly suited for opening and closing single-phase or three-phase circuits with voltage present, yet no load. Experience reliability in every operation.

Designed with simplicity, affordability, and user-friendliness in mind, this switch is tailored for single-phase application within three-phase systems. It offers a range of rated currents: 200, 400, 600, 800, 1000, and 1250 amps. Each unit is composed of a base, post insulators, conductive elements, and mechanical parts, all harmonized for efficiency. The innovative gate knife mechanism ensures effective circuit control, featuring dual conductive blades with adjustable external compression springs, fine-tuned for optimal contact pressure. Operate the switch effortlessly using an insulated hook stick, and benefit from the additional security of a self-locking device.

Working Environment:

Altitude must not exceed 1000 meters, ensuring optimal performance.

Ambient temperature: maintain within a maximum of +40°C and a minimum of -30°C for best results.

Accommodates outdoor environments with wind speeds up to 35 meters/second.

Built to withstand seismic intensities up to 8 degrees; ideal for locations free from frequent severe vibrations.

For peak insulation and conductivity, avoid installation in areas with gases, chemical deposits, salt mist, dust, dirt, or other explosive or corrosive influences.

Installation, Use and Adjustment

Pre-installation work

  1. Begin by removing all dust and dirt, and carefully clean the surface of the insulating porcelain bottle for optimal clarity.
  2. Thoroughly scrub the wiring surface of the ground screw to ensure complete connectivity.
  3. Add a protective layer of industrial Vaseline to all rotating parts and contact points to enhance longevity and performance.
  4. Verify the contact surface and adjust the compression spring height so the contact pressure aligns with the specifications in Table II.
  5. This switch is exclusively designed for hoisting applications, integrating seamlessly with transformers on the line.
  6. The switch is rated at 200-400 ampere hours, utilizing three mounting holes for efficient installation. For 600-1000A, ensure the use of three robust mounting holes.

Annual Maintenance: Inspect these crucial components every year to ensure uninterrupted operation.
Thoroughly remove any dirt from conductive parts, contact surfaces, and insulating porcelain surfaces to maintain optimal performance.

Inspect all components for signs of damage, with particular attention to the insulating porcelain bottles for any cracks or damage.

Ensure the contact surface of the conductive components remains pristine for reliable conductivity.
