(H) RW(F) series outdoor high voltage AC drop fuse, hereinafter known simply as the 'fuse', is expertly engineered for use in outdoor overhead distribution systems. Designed for environments with a rated frequency of 50Hz, and adaptable to rated voltages of 10kV (12/15/35/40.5), this fuse is a crucial protective component against overloads and short circuit faults within power systems. When in standard operation, this fuse is securely integrated in series within the power line, remaining in a tensioned and locked state. However, in the event of a line fault, the ensuing fault current triggers the fuse to blow, releasing the movable joint. This action swiftly drops the fuse tube, effectively severing the circuit and ensuring the safety and protection of maintenance personnel and equipment. Uniquely, the load type variant of this fuse is enhanced with an elastic contact and an arc extinguishing cover, providing the capability to open and close load currents with precision and reliability in power systems.
The fuse adheres to stringent technical standards, including GB / T 15166.3 - 2008, which covers high voltage AC fuses - Part 3: injection fuses. It also complies with DL / T 640 - 1997, which specifies the technical conditions for ordering outdoor AC high voltage drop tested fuses and fuse links. These rigorous specifications ensure unparalleled safety and performance.
Working Environment:
Ambient temperature: Ranging from a brisk -40°C to a warm +40°C, our fuses are designed to operate under diverse thermal conditions.
Relative humidity: To maintain optimal functionality, the daily average humidity should not exceed 95%, while the monthly average should remain below 90%.
Altitude: Our products are perfectly suited for locations where the altitude is no higher than 3000 meters.
Outdoor wind speed: The fuse is designed to withstand wind speeds up to a formidable 34 meters per second, ensuring performance stability in various weather conditions.
Installation site: Ideal sites are those free of fire, explosion hazards, and chemical corrosive gases, and that are well-ventilated to ensure safe and optimal operation.
Note: Should your operational conditions exceed the specified limits, we invite you to enter into a dialogue with our company to explore tailored solutions.
