Product Description

Introducing the (H)GWBEB type outdoor high-voltage isolation switch, a pinnacle of engineering excellence designed for application in 10(12, 15, 24)kV high voltage power transmission and distribution lines. This isolation disconnect switch is meticulously crafted to efficiently manage the opening and closing of single-phase or three-phase circuits, ensuring optimal performance even when voltage is present, without the added load.

The switch is ingeniously tailored for single-phase use within three-phase line systems, celebrated for its straightforward design, economic feasibility, and user-friendly operation. It offers a range of rated currents: 200, 400, 600, 800, 1000, and 1250 amps, making it versatile for various applications. Constructed from a robust base, superior post insulators, high-quality conductive components, and an advanced mechanical section, it utilizes a sophisticated gate knife mechanism for seamless circuit management. Each phase's gate knife comprises dual conductive blades, reinforced with external compression springs on either side, allowing precise adjustment of the spring height to achieve optimal contact pressure. The switch is effortlessly operated using an insulated hook stick, and is equipped with a reliable self-locking device for enhanced safety and efficiency.

Working Environment:

Designed to function flawlessly at altitudes not exceeding 1000 meters;

Capable of withstanding ambient temperature variations from a maximum of +40°C to a minimum of -30°C;

Engineered to perform effectively in outdoor conditions with wind speeds not exceeding 35 meters/second;

Built to endure seismic intensities up to 8 degrees, ensuring stability in installation sites free from frequent severe vibrations.

The installation site must be devoid of gases, chemical deposits, salt mist, dust, dirt, or any other explosive or corrosive mediums that could compromise the switch's insulation integrity and conductivity efficiency.

Installation, Use and Adjustment

Pre-installation work

  1. Thoroughly cleanse all parts by removing dust and dirt, and meticulously clean the surface of the insulating porcelain bottle for optimal performance.
  2. Ensure the wiring surface of the ground screw is carefully scrubbed for flawless connectivity.
  3. Apply a protective layer of industrial Vaseline to all rotating parts and contact areas to enhance durability and performance.
  4. Inspect the contact surface and precisely adjust the height of the compression spring to ensure the contact pressure aligns with the specifications outlined in Table II.
  5. This switch is specifically designed for hoisting applications and is intended to be used in conjunction with transformers on the line, offering unparalleled compatibility.
  6. The switch operates at a rated current of 200-400 ampere hours, typically utilizing three mounting holes for installation. For 600-1000A, three mounting holes are also employed.

Conduct a thorough annual inspection of the following switch components to ensure peak operational efficiency:
Meticulously remove dirt from conductive parts, contact surfaces, and the insulator's porcelain bottle surface to maintain optimal performance.

Conduct a comprehensive check for any damage across all components, with special attention to the insulating porcelain bottle for any signs of damage or cracks.

Verify the integrity of the conductive part's contact surface to ensure excellent electrical performance.
