The (H)GWBEB type outdoor high-voltage isolation switch, proudly known as an isolation disconnect switch, is expertly crafted for seamless operation on 10(12, 15, 24)kV high voltage power transmission and distribution lines. It serves the critical function of opening and closing single-phase or three-phase circuits safely, all without load but with voltage present. This essential device is a cornerstone of high voltage power management.
Designed for single-phase applications within three-phase line systems, this switch is celebrated for its straightforward structure, cost-effectiveness, and user-friendly operation. Offered in a range of rated currents from 200 through 1250 amps, these switches boast an impressive construction comprising a solid base, reliable post insulators, conductive components, and a robust mechanical section. A unique gate knife structure facilitates the smooth opening and closing of circuits, with each phase's gate knife featuring two conductive blades and external compression springs for optimal contact pressure. Operation is effortlessly managed using an insulated hook stick, complemented by a secure self-locking device for peace of mind.
Working Environment:
Ideal for altitudes not exceeding 1000 meters;
Able to withstand an ambient temperature range from a chilly -30°C up to a sweltering +40°C;
Capable of maintaining full functionality in outdoor wind speeds of up to 35 meters/second;
Engineered to endure seismic activities up to 8 degrees, this switch is best installed in locations free from frequent severe vibrations.
The installation site must remain free from gases, chemical deposits, salt mist, dust, dirt, and any other explosive or corrosive mediums that could adversely impact the switch’s insulation and conductivity.
Note:
IN CASE THE ABOVE STANDARD USE CONDITIONS ARE SURPASSED, USERS ARE ENCOURAGED TO NEGOTIATE WITH THE COMPANY FOR ALTERNATIVE SOLUTIONS.
Installation, Use and Adjustment
Pre-installation work
Conduct an annual inspection of the following switch components:
Thoroughly cleanse the conductive parts, contact surfaces, and the insulating porcelain bottle’s exterior.
Examine all parts for damage, with particular attention to the insulating porcelain bottle for any signs of damage or cracking.
Ensure the contact surface of each conductive part is in excellent condition.
