The (H) RW(F) series outdoor high voltage AC drop fuse, affectionately known as the 'fuse', is a pivotal component in outdoor overhead distribution systems. Engineered for systems with a rated frequency of 50Hz and rated voltage of 10kV (with options extending to 12/15/35/40.5 kV), it excels as a robust safeguard for circuits and electrical equipment, stepping in as a reliable sentinel against overload or short circuit mishaps. In its normal operational state, the fuse is anchored securely in series within the power line, maintaining a state of tension with a locked movable joint. Upon detecting a fault, this ingenious fuse allows the fault current to blow, triggering the release of the movable joint, causing the fuse tube to drop swiftly and sever the circuit, thereby ensuring protection during maintenance. This sophisticated load-type fuse features a dynamic elastic contact and an arc extinguishing cover, an enhancement over traditional models, adeptly managing the opening and closing of load currents in power systems.
Our fuses are crafted in adherence to stringent technical standards, including GB / T 15166.3 - 2008 for high voltage AC fuses - Part 3: injection fuses, and DL / T 640 - 1997 for outdoor AC high voltage drop-tested fuses and fuse links technical conditions. These certifications ensure unparalleled reliability and performance.
Working Environment:
Ambient Temperature Range: Designed to perform flawlessly between -40°C and +40°C;
Relative Humidity: Capable of enduring daily averages up to 95%, while monthly averages should not exceed 90%;
Altitude Compatibility: Operational at altitudes up to 3000 meters;
Wind Speed Threshold: Built to withstand outdoor wind speeds no greater than 34 meters/second;
Installation Site Requirements: Ideal for locations free from fire and explosion hazards, devoid of corrosive chemical gases, and with ample ventilation.
Note: For conditions beyond these standard parameters, customization is possible through negotiation with us.
