Product Description

(H)GWBEB type outdoor high-voltage isolation switch, also known as an isolation disconnect switch, is expertly crafted for use on 10(12, 15, 24)kV high voltage power transmission and distribution lines. It facilitates the seamless opening and closing of single-phase or three-phase circuits without load but with voltage present, ensuring reliable performance and safety.

Tailored for single-phase use in three-phase line systems, this switch is celebrated for its straightforward design, cost-effectiveness, and user-friendly operation. With rated currents available at 200, 400, 600, 800, 1000, and 1250 amps, these switches are composed of a solid base, robust post insulators, critical conductive parts, and an efficient mechanical section. A gate knife structure is masterfully employed for circuit opening and closing, where each phase's gate knife features two conductive blades, complemented by external compression springs on both sides. Adjusting the spring height achieves the ideal contact pressure, ensuring optimal function of the switch's gate knife. The switch operation is elegantly executed using an insulated hook stick for opening and closing actions, and is fortified with a self-locking device for added security.

Working Environment:

Altitude not exceeding 1000 meters; ensuring optimal performance even at significant elevations.

Ambient temperature: a maximum that does not surpass +40°C and a minimum not dropping below -30°C; accommodating a wide range of climatic conditions.

Outdoor wind speed not exceeding 35 meters/second; designed to withstand high wind conditions without compromising on performance.

Seismic intensity not exceeding 8 degrees; the installation site should remain free from frequent severe vibrations, ensuring stability and durability.

The installation site should remain free from gases, chemical deposits, salt mist, dust, dirt, or other explosive or corrosive mediums that could severely affect the switch's insulation and conductivity, safeguarding its longevity and effectiveness.

Installation, Use and Adjustment

Pre-installation work

  1. Meticulously remove dust and dirt from the parts, and delicately wipe the surface of the insulating porcelain bottle to ensure pristine conditions for installation.
  2. Thoroughly scrub the wiring surface of the ground screw, ensuring impeccable electrical connections.
  3. Apply a protective layer of industrial Vaseline to the rotating parts and contact areas to reduce friction and enhance longevity.
  4. Inspect the contact surface intensively and adjust the height of the compression spring to ensure the contact pressure aligns perfectly with Table II standards.
  5. This switch is engineered exclusively for hoisting use and is seamlessly integrated with the transformer on the line, providing seamless operational efficiency.
  6. The switch boasts a rated current ranging from 200-400 ampere hours, typically utilizing three mounting holes. For currents between 600-1000A, three mounting holes are also employed, offering versatile installation options.

Annually, conduct a meticulous inspection of the following switch components to ensure peak performance and safety:
Carefully remove any dirt from conductive parts, contact surfaces, and the surface of insulating porcelain bottles, preserving the integrity and efficiency of the switch.

Methodically check all parts for damage, with particular focus on inspecting the insulating porcelain bottle for any damage or cracks, ensuring safety and reliability.

Vigilantly verify whether the contact surface of the conductive part maintains optimal condition, safeguarding effective electrical conductivity.
