Product Description

  Zinc oxide arrester is a new type of fully sealed and highly reliable lightning protection device for 10kV power distribution system. It is made of zinc oxide valve column, upper and lower electrodes, and silicone rubber integrally molded. It has the following characteristics:

  1. The new structure fundamentally solves the sealing problem of the arrester. The core and jacket of the arrester form a dense whole, eliminating the cavity that causes breathing and solving the technical key to preventing internal components from getting damp.
  2. The core has strong ability to withstand internal overvoltage and good aging characteristics.

The specially developed valve plate and reasonable core parameters are used to ensure that the core can reliably withstand arc grounding, PT resonance and various operating overvoltages, and can operate safely for a long time under line voltage, 2.5 times and 3 times power frequency overvoltage. The voltage withstand time is 1 to 3 orders of magnitude higher than international requirements.

Installation

(1) The nameplate should be checked before installation, and the system rated voltage of the arrester should be consistent with the system voltage of the installation point;

(2) Suspension installation or vertical installation can be adopted. If vertical installation is adopted, the arrester cannot be used as a load-bearing support insulator;

(3) The lead wire should not be too long to avoid affecting the protection effect, and should not be tightened to avoid unnecessary stress on the arrester.

Test

  • lIn order to accumulate operational experience, preventive tests can currently be conducted every 4-5 years. The test item is to measure U1mA at the upper and lower ends of the DC 1mA arrester.
  • lThe U1mA voltage measured before installation should not be lower than 97% of the factory value and should be recorded.
  • lThe U1mA voltage measured in the preventive test is not less than 26kV.
  • lNote: The harmonic component of the DC power supply used for testing should be as small as possible. When the waveform is not good, the measured U1mA will be low.
  • lThe currently launched 10kV synthetic insulated zinc oxide arrester for power distribution has completed rigorous testing in the laboratory and has continued to operate at outdoor line voltage for 15 months. All tests have shown that: the jacket has excellent performance, the arrester structure is reasonable and reliable, and the core stability is good .
