(H)GWBEB type outdoor high-voltage isolation switch, also famously known as an isolation disconnect switch, is meticulously engineered for seamless use on 10(12, 15, 24)kV high voltage power transmission and distribution lines. Its primary function is to proficiently open and close single-phase or three-phase circuits without load, even when voltage is present.
This switch is specifically designed for single-phase use within three-phase line systems. It stands out for its straightforward structure, exceptional cost-effectiveness, and user-friendly operation. With available rated currents of 200, 400, 600, 800, 1000, and 1250 amps, these switches incorporate a robust base, durable post insulators, high-conductivity parts, and a reliable mechanical section. The circuit is operated using an innovative gate knife structure, where each phase's gate knife is composed of two conductive blades, featuring external compression springs on both sides. The springs' height adjustment ensures the desired contact pressure for the gate knife, operated with an insulated hook stick for easy opening and closing actions. Additionally, it boasts a self-locking device for added security.
Working Environment:
The altitude must not exceed 1000 meters, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
Maintain ambient temperature within safe limits: maximum not above +40°C; minimum not below -30°C, for reliable functionality.
Outdoor wind speeds should not exceed 35 meters per second, protecting the switch from wind-induced damage.
Ensure seismic intensity does not exceed 8 degrees; the installation site should be free from frequent severe vibrations, preserving structural integrity.
The installation location must be free of gases, chemical deposits, salt mist, dust, dirt, or any explosive or corrosive mediums that could seriously compromise the switch's insulation and conductivity.
Note:
WHEN THE ABOVE NORMAL USE CONDITIONS ARE EXCEEDED, THE USER CAN NEGOTIATE WITH THE COMPANY.
Installation, Use and Adjustment
Pre-installation work
Perform regular annual checks on the following parts of the switch:
Remove any dirt from conductive parts, contact surfaces, and the surface of insulating porcelain bottles to maintain efficiency.
Inspect all parts for damage, with special attention to detecting any damage or cracks in the insulating porcelain bottle.
Verify that the contact surface of the conductive part remains in excellent condition.
