Product Description

Introducing the (H)GWBEB type outdoor high-voltage isolation switch, a masterful solution crafted for high voltage power transmission and distribution lines ranging from 10kV to 24kV. Whether handling single-phase or three-phase circuits, this evolution in isolation technology operates to seamlessly open and close circuits without carrying the load, yet with voltage intact, ensuring optimal safety and performance.

Designed specifically for single-phase operations within three-phase systems, this switch stands out with its straightforward design, affordability, and user-friendly interface. It is offered in various rated currents: 200, 400, 600, 800, 1000, and 1250 amps, to suit diverse power needs. The switch is composed of a robust base, steadfast post insulators, conductive components, and an efficient mechanical section. The innovative gate knife structure is key in flawlessly opening and closing circuits, utilizing dual conductive blades for each phase, enhanced by exterior compression springs for consistent contact pressure. This high-performance switch is operated with ease using an insulated hook stick and comes equipped with a reliable self-locking mechanism for secure operation.

Working Environment:

Suitable for altitudes up to 1000 meters, offering reliable performance at higher elevations.

Designed to withstand ambient temperatures ranging from a maximum of +40°C to a minimum of -30°C, ensuring adaptability to various climates.

Engineered to operate efficiently in outdoor wind speeds of up to 35 meters per second, providing stability against nature's forces.

Built to remain operational with seismic intensities up to 8 degrees, provided the installation site is stable and free from recurrent severe vibrations.

The installation site must be free from gases, chemical deposits, salt mist, dust, dirt, or any other explosive or corrosive substances that could compromise the switch's insulation and conductivity.

Installation, Use and Adjustment

Pre-installation work

  1. Ensure all parts are free of dust and dirt, with a thorough cleaning of the insulating porcelain bottle's surface for optimal performance.
  2. Carefully scrub the wiring surface of the ground screw to maintain a clean and effective connection.
  3. A protective layer of industrial Vaseline should be applied to all rotating parts and contact areas for smooth operation and enhanced longevity.
  4. Inspect the contact surface and adjust the compression spring's height to ensure contact pressure meets the specifications in Table II.
  5. This switch is uniquely suitable for hoisting applications and is designed for use in conjunction with line transformers.
  6. With a rated current between 200-400 amperes, this switch typically uses three mounting holes, with 600-1000A configurations also utilizing three mounting holes.

Perform annual maintenance to inspect these essential switch parts:
Remove any accumulation of dirt from conductive components, contact surfaces, and the insulating porcelain bottles to ensure peak conductivity.

Inspect every component for potential damage, specifically checking the insulating porcelain bottle for cracks or breakage.

Examine the contact surfaces of the conductive parts to guarantee they remain in prime condition.
