Product Description

(H)GWBEB type outdoor high-voltage isolation switch, also famed as the isolation disconnect switch, is ingeniously crafted for seamless operation on 10(12, 15, 24)kV high voltage power transmission and distribution lines. This sophisticated switch elegantly opens and closes single-phase or three-phase circuits without load, all while voltage is present, ensuring remarkable efficiency and precision.

This switch is meticulously designed for single-phase applications within three-phase line systems, boasting a simple yet highly effective structure, making it an excellent, cost-effective choice. Its ease of use is unparalleled. Available in a range of rated currents, including 200, 400, 600, 800, 1000, and 1250 amps, these switches are composed of a robust base, reliable post insulators, conductive parts, and a precise mechanical section. The innovative gate knife structure expertly facilitates circuit opening and closing, with each phase's gate knife comprising two conductive blades, secured with external compression springs on both sides. By adjusting the spring height, optimal contact pressure for the switch's gate knife is effortlessly achieved. The switch is operated with grace using an insulated hook stick for opening and closing actions and is enhanced with a self-locking device for added safety and reliability.

Working Environment:

Altitude should gracefully not exceed 1000 meters;

Ambient temperature: maximum delightfully not above +40°C; minimum charmingly not below -30°C;

Outdoor wind speed elegantly not exceeding 35 meters/second;

Seismic intensity harmoniously not exceeding 8 degrees; the installation site should ideally be free from frequent severe vibrations to ensure optimal performance.

The installation site should be devoid of gases, chemical deposits, salt mist, dust, dirt, or any other explosive or corrosive mediums that could significantly compromise the switch's insulation and conductivity.

Installation, Use and Adjustment

Pre-installation work

  1. Meticulously remove dust and dirt from the components and gently wipe the surface of the insulating porcelain bottle for optimal cleanliness.
  2. Carefully scrub the wiring surface of the ground screw to ensure pristine connectivity.
  3. Generously apply a layer of industrial Vaseline to the rotating parts and contact areas for smooth performance and reduced friction.
  4. Diligently inspect the contact surface and adjust the height of the compression spring, ensuring the contact pressure aligns flawlessly with Table II specifications.
  5. This switch is exclusively designed for hoisting use and is seamlessly integrated with the transformer on the line for enhanced utility.
  6. The rated current of this switch varies between 200-400 ampere hours, typically utilizing three mounting holes, while 600-1000A also employs three mounting holes for secure installation.

Annually embark on a thorough check-up of the following switch components:
Meticulously remove any dirt from conductive parts, contact surfaces, and the surface of insulating porcelain bottles to maintain optimal conductivity.

Conduct a comprehensive inspection of all parts for any damage, with special emphasis on scrutinizing the insulating porcelain bottle for any signs of damage or cracks.

Ensure the contact surface of the conductive part remains in excellent condition to guarantee efficient performance.
