Product Description

Introducing the (H)GWBEB type outdoor high-voltage isolation switch, widely recognized as an isolation disconnect switch. This state-of-the-art device is masterfully crafted for deployment on 10(12, 15, 24)kV high voltage power transmission and distribution lines, providing the remarkable ability to open and close single-phase or three-phase circuits with the presence of voltage, sans load. Experience a new level of reliability and performance designed to meet the rigorous demands of modern electrical infrastructure.

Our switch is the epitome of simplicity, cost-efficiency, and user-friendliness, ideal for single-phase usage in three-phase line systems. With rated currents available in 200, 400, 600, 800, 1000, and 1250 amps, this switch is engineered to cater to diverse electrical needs. The switch is an assembly of a robust base, post insulators, conductive parts, and an intricate mechanical section. The intuitive gate knife structure ensures seamless circuit operations. Each phase features a dual-bladed conductive gate knife fortified with external compression springs, allowing for precise contact pressure adjustments. Operation is effortlessly executed using an insulated hook stick, complemented by a self-locking mechanism for enhanced safety and reliability.

Working Environment:

Ensure optimum performance with installation altitudes not exceeding 1000 meters.

Keep in mind the ambient temperature limits: a maximum of +40°C and a minimum of -30°C for flawless operation.

The switch is designed to withstand outdoor wind speeds of up to 35 meters/second.

This resilient switch can handle seismic intensities up to 8 degrees, provided the installation site remains free from frequent severe vibrations.

Choose installation sites wisely to avoid environments with gases, chemical deposits, salt mist, dust, dirt, or other explosive or corrosive mediums that could significantly impair the switch's insulation and conductivity.

Installation, Use and Adjustment

Pre-installation work

  1. Initiate pre-installation by meticulously removing dust and dirt from all parts, and gently wiping down the surface of the insulating porcelain bottle for peak performance.
  2. Thoroughly scrub the wiring surface of the ground screw to ensure optimal conductivity.
  3. A fine layer of industrial Vaseline should be applied to rotating parts and contact areas, safeguarding them against wear and corrosion.
  4. Inspect the contact surfaces diligently, adjusting the compression spring height as necessary to ensure contact pressure aligns with the specifications in Table II.
  5. Designed exclusively for hoisting applications, this switch is ideally used with transformers on the line to maximize efficiency.
  6. For optimal installation, the rated current of 200-400 ampere hours is typically accommodated with three mounting holes, as is the case for 600-1000A configurations.

Annual Routine Check-up: Ensure the longevity and reliability of the switch by regularly inspecting the following components each year:
Meticulously clean dirt from conductive parts, contact surfaces, and the insulating porcelain bottles to maintain pristine conditions.

Conduct thorough inspections for any signs of damage, with special attention to the insulating porcelain bottle for cracks or imperfections.

Consistently verify that the contact surface of the conductive part remains in optimal condition to ensure uninterrupted functionality.
