Product Description

Introducing the (H)GWBEB type outdoor high-voltage isolation switch, also commonly referred to as an isolation disconnect switch. This sophisticated device is expertly crafted for seamless integration into 10(12, 15, 24)kV high-voltage power transmission and distribution lines. Its primary function is to efficiently open and close single-phase or three-phase circuits without the load, while voltage is present, ensuring operational reliability and safety.

Specifically engineered for single-phase applications within three-phase line systems, this switch embodies a perfect blend of simplicity, affordability, and user-friendly operation. With available rated currents spanning 200, 400, 600, 800, 1000, and 1250 amps, it offers versatile solutions for varied needs. The switch's composition includes a sturdy base, robust post insulators, conductive elements, and an innovative mechanical section, all designed with precision. The circuit is controlled using a gate knife mechanism, with each phase's gate knife featuring dual conductive blades and external compression springs for enhanced performance. By adjusting the spring height, optimal contact pressure for the gate knife operation is achieved. Operable via an insulated hook stick for both opening and closing actions, it also boasts a reliable self-locking device, ensuring safety and convenience.

Working Environment:

1. Altitude not exceeding 1000 meters;

2. Ambient temperature: maximum not above +40°C; minimum not below -30°C;

3. Outdoor wind speed not exceeding 35 meters/second;

4. Seismic intensity not exceeding 8 degrees; the installation site should not experience frequent severe vibrations.

5. The installation site must remain free of gases, chemical deposits, salt mist, dust, dirt, or other explosive or corrosive mediums that could significantly impact the switch's insulation and conductivity.

Note:

WHEN THE ABOVE NORMAL USE CONDITIONS ARE EXCEEDED, THE USER CAN NEGOTIATE WITH THE COMPANY FOR CUSTOMIZED SOLUTIONS.

 

Installation, Use and Adjustment

Pre-installation work

  1. Thoroughly remove dust and dirt from all components, and meticulously clean the surface of the insulating porcelain bottle to ensure a pristine condition.
  2. Scrub the wiring surface of the ground screw with care to maintain optimal connectivity.
  3. Apply a protective layer of industrial Vaseline to all rotating parts and contact areas to ensure smooth operation and prevent wear.
  4. Examine the contact surfaces diligently and adjust the height of the compression spring to ensure that the contact pressure aligns perfectly with the specifications outlined in Table II.
  5. This switch is exclusively designed for hoisting applications and is intended to work seamlessly in conjunction with transformers on the line, providing a reliable operational partnership.
  6. The rated current capacity of this switch ranges between 200-400 ampere hours, commonly requiring three mounting holes; for currents between 600-1000A, three mounting holes are similarly utilized.

Annual Maintenance Checklist: Regularly check the following parts of the switch to ensure optimal performance and longevity:
1. Keep the conductive parts, contact surfaces, and the surfaces of insulating porcelain bottles free from dirt and debris.

2. Inspect all components for any signs of damage, with particular attention to the insulating porcelain bottle for cracks or breakage.

3. Ensure the contact surface of the conductive part maintains its integrity and functionality.
