The (H)GWBEB type outdoor high-voltage isolation switch, affectionately known in the industry as an isolation disconnect switch, is expertly crafted for seamless operation on 10(12, 15, 24)kV high voltage power transmission and distribution networks. It is your go-to solution for opening and closing single-phase or three-phase circuits, efficiently managing voltage without load.
Optimally designed for single-phase utilization in three-phase line systems, this switch stands out with its uncomplicated structure, cost-effective nature, and user-friendly design. With a range of current ratings available—200, 400, 600, 800, 1000, and 1250 amps—each switch is composed of a robust base, post insulators, conductive elements, and a mechanical segment. The circuit operation is enhanced by a gate knife structure, with each phase's gate knife featuring two contact-efficient conductive blades and external compression springs on both sides. Adjusting the spring height ensures the contact pressure is just right for the switch's gate knife, while an insulated hook stick provides convenient operation, supported by a self-locking mechanism.
Working Environment:
Operates optimally at altitudes not exceeding 1000 meters;
Ambient temperature: enjoy reliable performance with a maximum of +40°C and a minimum of -30°C;
Built to withstand outdoor wind speeds up to 35 meters/second;
Designed to endure seismic activities up to 8 degrees, ensuring safety even in prone areas, so long as the site is free from frequent severe vibrations.
Installation sites should be free from harmful gases, chemical deposits, salt mist, dust, dirt, or any explosive or corrosive mediums that could compromise the switch's insulation and conductivity.
Note:
Should you encounter conditions that exceed the above normal usage parameters, rest assured that you can negotiate solutions with the company to meet your specific needs.
Installation, Use and Adjustment
Pre-installation work
Conduct an annual check of the switch's vital components to maintain peak performance:
Ensure conductive parts, contact surfaces, and insulating porcelain bottles are free from dirt that could impede performance.
Examine all components for any signs of damage, with particular emphasis on checking the insulating porcelain bottle for any cracks or damage.
Verify the integrity and connectivity of the conductive part's contact surfaces.
