The (H)GWBEB type outdoor high-voltage isolation switch, also known as the isolation disconnect switch, is specifically designed to optimize performance on 10(12, 15, 24)kV high voltage power transmission and distribution lines. This switch allows for the seamless and efficient opening and closing of single-phase or three-phase circuits, operating with voltage present but without load. Its advanced design ensures reliable performance in critical power management applications.
This switch is expertly crafted for single-phase use within three-phase line systems, boasting a straightforward structure that ensures both cost-effectiveness and user-friendliness. Offered in a variety of rated currents: 200, 400, 600, 800, 1000, and 1250 amps, the switch is composed of a durable base, sturdy post insulators, efficient conductive parts, and a robust mechanical section. Utilizing an innovative gate knife structure for seamless circuit operations, each phase’s gate knife includes two conductive blades, enhanced by external compression springs on both sides. The critical contact pressure is easily adjusted by modifying the spring height. Operable with an insulated hook stick, this switch features a sophisticated self-locking device for added safety.
Working Environment:
Operates efficiently at altitudes not exceeding 1000 meters;
Designed to withstand ambient temperatures with a maximum of +40°C and a minimum of -30°C;
Capable of enduring outdoor wind speeds not surpassing 35 meters/second;
Built to remain stable under seismic intensities not exceeding 8 degrees, ensuring the installation site remains free from frequent severe vibrations.
For optimal performance, the installation site must be free of gases, chemical deposits, salt mist, dust, dirt, or any explosive or corrosive mediums that could significantly impact the switch's insulation and conductivity.
Note:
SHOULD NORMAL USE CONDITIONS BE EXCEEDED, USERS ARE ENCOURAGED TO DISCUSS ALTERNATIVE SOLUTIONS WITH THE COMPANY.
Installation, Use and Adjustment
Pre-installation work
Conduct annual inspections to ensure optimal function of the switch, focusing on the following aspects:
Meticulously remove any dirt from conductive parts, contact surfaces, and the insulating porcelain bottle’s surface to maintain peak performance.
Inspect all components for any signs of damage, with particular attention to the insulating porcelain bottle to identify and address any cracks or weaknesses.
Ensure the conductive part’s contact surface remains intact and fully functional, supporting reliable electrical connections.
