Product Description

Introducing the (H)GWBEB type outdoor high-voltage isolation switch, an essential component for modern electrical infrastructure. Known also as an isolation disconnect switch, it expertly manages the opening and closing of single-phase or three-phase circuits on high-voltage power transmission and distribution lines, ranging from 10kV to 24kV, with the presence of voltage but without load. Its cutting-edge design ensures reliability and efficiency.

Engineered for single-phase function within three-phase systems, our switch stands out for its simplicity, cost-effectiveness, and user-friendliness. Offering a versatile selection of rated currents—200, 400, 600, 800, 1000, and 1250 amps—this switch is built with a robust base, high-grade post insulators, durable conductive components, and a precision mechanical section. The innovative gate knife structure guarantees seamless circuit control, with each phase featuring dual conductive blades and external compression springs to ensure optimal contact pressure. Operating the switch is straightforward with an insulated hook stick, reinforced by a reliable self-locking mechanism.

Working Environment:

Designed for altitudes up to 1000 meters;

Can withstand ambient temperatures from a chilling -30°C to a sweltering +40°C;

Efficiency maintained with wind speeds up to 35 meters per second;

Capable of enduring seismic intensities up to 8 degrees, provided installations are away from frequent, severe vibrations.

Installations should be free from harmful gases, chemical deposits, salt mist, dust, dirt, or any explosive or corrosive substances that could impair the switch's insulation and conductivity.

Installation, Use and Adjustment

Pre-installation work

  1. Thoroughly clean any dust and dirt from components, ensuring the insulating porcelain bottle's surface is spotless.
  2. Ensure the grounding screw's wiring surface is meticulously scrubbed.
  3. Apply a protective layer of industrial Vaseline to all moving parts and critical contact areas for enhanced performance.
  4. Inspect and adjust the compression spring's height to ensure contact pressure aligns with the specifications in Table II.
  5. Ideal for hoisting applications, this switch is designed to complement transformers effectively on the line.
  6. For rated currents between 200-400 amperes, three mounting holes are typically sufficient. For 600-1000A applications, three mounting holes are standard.

Annual maintenance should include checks of these critical switch components:
Regularly clean conductive parts, contact surfaces, and the insulating porcelain bottle's exterior to maintain optimal function.

Vigilantly inspect all parts for any signs of damage, particularly checking the insulating porcelain bottle for integrity and cracks.

Ensure the contact surfaces of conductive parts remain in prime condition.
