The (H)GWBEB type Outdoor High-Voltage Isolation Switch, also referred to as an Isolation Disconnect Switch, is meticulously engineered to be employed on 10(12, 15, 24)kV high-voltage power transmission and distribution lines. This switch is adept at opening and closing single-phase or three-phase circuits with voltage present, yet free from any load. Its design ensures reliability and safety in high-voltage applications.
This switch, tailored for single-phase use within three-phase line systems, is celebrated for its straightforward construction, economic efficiency, and user-friendly operation. It offers a variety of rated currents: 200, 400, 600, 800, 1000, and 1250 amps. Each switch is composed of a base, post insulators, conductive parts, and a mechanical section, incorporating a gate knife structure for seamless circuit operations. Each phase's gate knife integrates two conductive blades, complemented by external compression springs on either side. By adjusting the spring height, the contact pressure necessary for the switch's gate knife is achieved. Operation is facilitated through an insulated hook stick, ensuring safe opening and closing actions, complete with a self-locking device for added security.
Working Environment:
The switch is designed to perform optimally at altitudes not exceeding 1000 meters.
Designed for a broad ambient temperature range, the switch can withstand a maximum temperature of +40°C and a minimum of -30°C.
The switch remains fully operational in outdoor conditions with wind speeds not surpassing 35 meters per second.
It is engineered to endure seismic intensities up to 8 degrees, provided the installation site is free from frequent, severe vibrations.
The installation environment must be devoid of gases, chemical deposits, salt mist, dust, dirt, or any explosive or corrosive substances that could significantly impact the switch's insulation and conductivity.
Note:
WHEN STANDARD OPERATING CONDITIONS ARE SURPASSED, USERS ARE ENCOURAGED TO DISCUSS ALTERNATIVES WITH THE COMPANY.
Installation, Use and Adjustment
Pre-installation work
Conduct a thorough annual inspection of the following switch components:
Meticulously remove any dirt from the conductive parts, contact surfaces, and insulating porcelain bottle surfaces.
Carefully inspect all components for damage, with particular attention to any cracks or damage in the insulating porcelain bottle.
Verify the quality of the contact surface of the conductive part to ensure optimal function.
