(2) Adaptable to suspension or vertical installation methods. If selecting vertical installation, avoid using the arrester as a load-bearing insulator;

(3) Ensure that the lead wire is optimized in length to maximize protection efficiency and to prevent excess stress on the equipment.

Test

  • lTo boost operational reliability, it is advised to perform preventive tests every 4-5 years. Focus especially on measuring U1mA at both terminals of the DC 1mA arrester.
  • lBefore installation, ensure that the U1mA voltage is no less than 97% of the original factory value and meticulously record this information.
