Product Description

(H)GWBEB Type Outdoor High-Voltage Isolation Switch, also fondly recognized as an Isolation Disconnect Switch, is exquisitely engineered for flawless performance on 10(12, 15, 24)kV high voltage power transmission and distribution lines. This remarkable piece of technology facilitates the seamless opening and closing of single-phase or three-phase circuits when voltage is present, without the load.

Crafted with precision, this switch is tailored for single-phase use within three-phase line systems and boasts a simple yet effective structure. It is economically viable and user-friendly, available in rated currents of 200, 400, 600, 800, 1000, and 1250 amps. The switch's robust design includes a base, post insulators, conductive components, and a mechanical section. The distinctive gate knife structure enables efficient circuit opening and closing, with each phase's gate knife comprised of dual conductive blades featuring external compression springs on both sides. The spring height can be adjusted to ensure optimal contact pressure for the gate knife's operation. Additionally, a self-locking device complements the insulated hook stick, facilitating effortless opening and closing actions.

Working Environment:

Altitude not exceeding 1000 meters;

Ambient temperature: Ensures peak performance with a maximum not above +40°C and a minimum not dropping below -30°C.

Outdoor wind speed not exceeding 35 meters/second;

Seismic intensity not exceeding 8 degrees; Ensure the installation site is free from frequent severe vibrations for optimal functionality.

The installation site must be devoid of gases, chemical deposits, salt mist, dust, dirt, and other explosive or corrosive mediums that could adversely affect the switch's superior insulation and conductivity.

Installation, Use and Adjustment

Pre-installation work

  1. Meticulously remove dust and dirt from all components, ensuring the insulating porcelain bottle's surface is carefully wiped for pristine cleanliness.
  2. Diligently scrub the wiring surface of the ground screw for impeccable connectivity.
  3. Apply a generous layer of industrial Vaseline to the rotating parts and contact areas to ensure smooth operation.
  4. Conduct a thorough check of the contact surface and adjust the compression spring's height to align with Table II's contact pressure specifications.
  5. This switch is expertly designed exclusively for hoisting use and is intended for seamless integration with the transformer on the line.
  6. The rated current for this switch ranges between 200-400 ampere hours, typically utilizing three mounting holes, while the 600-1000A variants also employ three mounting holes for secure attachment.

Ensure annual maintenance by regularly checking these vital switch components:
Thoroughly clean and remove dirt from all conductive parts, contact surfaces, and the insulating porcelain bottles' surface for uncompromised efficiency.

Inspect all components for any potential damage, with a specific focus on detecting any cracks or damage in the insulating porcelain bottle.

Verify that the contact surface of the conductive part remains impeccable and fully functional.
