Product Description

(H)GWBEB type outdoor high-voltage isolation switch, a pinnacle of engineering excellence, is specially crafted for high voltage power transmission and distribution lines, ranging from 10 to 24kV. This isolation disconnect switch is adept at managing both single-phase and three-phase circuits, allowing operations without load but under live voltage conditions, ensuring seamless and reliable control.

This switch is ingeniously crafted for single-phase applications within three-phase systems, boasting a simple structure that combines cost-efficiency with unparalleled ease of use. Choose from a variety of rated currents: 200, 400, 600, 800, 1000, and 1250 amps, tailored to meet diverse operational demands. The switch's design integrates a robust base, durable post insulators, conductive components, and a sophisticated mechanical section. The circuit engages and disengages through a gate knife structure, comprising two conductive blades for each phase, paired with external compression springs on either side. Adjusting the spring height ensures optimal contact pressure for the gate knife's operation. The switch features a self-locking device and is effortlessly maneuvered using an insulated hook stick for opening and closing actions.

Working Environment:

Designed for altitudes not exceeding 1000 meters, ensuring reliable performance and longevity.

Capable of withstanding a wide ambient temperature range: a maximum of +40°C and a minimum of -30°C, providing robust operation in diverse climates.

Built to endure outdoor wind speeds up to 35 meters/second, demonstrating resilience and stability.

Engineered to withstand seismic activities with an intensity not exceeding 8 degrees. The installation site must be free from frequent severe vibrations, maintaining structural integrity and operational efficiency.

It is critical to ensure the installation site is devoid of gases, chemical deposits, salt mist, dust, dirt, or any explosive or corrosive mediums that could significantly impair the switch's insulation and conductivity.

Installation, Use and Adjustment

Pre-installation work

  1. Thoroughly eliminate all dust and dirt from the components, and meticulously clean the surface of the insulating porcelain bottle to ensure optimal performance.
  2. Delicately scrub the wiring surface of the ground screw to maintain excellent electrical connectivity.
  3. Coat the rotating parts and contact areas with a fine layer of industrial Vaseline to ensure smooth operation and reduce wear.
  4. Inspect the contact surface and adjust the compression spring height to ensure it meets the specified contact pressure detailed in Table II.
  5. This switch is exclusively designed for hoisting use and should be utilized in conjunction with the transformer on the line for seamless integration.
  6. The switch is available in rated currents of 200-400 ampere hours, generally requiring three mounting holes, while the 600-1000A variant also utilizes three mounting holes, ensuring secure and stable installation.

Conduct thorough annual inspections on the following switch components:
Carefully remove any accumulated dirt from conductive parts, contact surfaces, and the insulating porcelain bottle to maintain efficient performance.

Inspect all components for damage, with particular attention to the insulating porcelain bottle for any signs of damage or cracks.

Ensure the contact surface of the conductive part remains in excellent condition to guarantee optimal performance.
