Product Description

The (H)GWBEB type outdoor high-voltage isolation switch, famously recognized as an isolation disconnect switch, is meticulously engineered for deployment on 10(12, 15, 24)kV high voltage power transmission and distribution networks. It excels in opening and closing single-phase or three-phase circuits that are devoid of load but actively charged with voltage.

Designed with precision for single-phase deployment within three-phase line systems, this switch stands out for its streamlined architecture, affordability, and user-friendly operation. It is available with rated currents of 200, 400, 600, 800, 1000, and 1250 amps. The switch is intricately composed of a steadfast base, robust post insulators, high-quality conductive components, and an efficient mechanical segment. The innovative gate knife structure facilitates seamless circuit opening and closing. Each phase's gate knife is equipped with dual conductive blades, complemented by external compression springs on both flanks. By adjusting the spring's height, optimal contact pressure for the switch's gate knife is achieved. An insulated hook stick elegantly manages the switch's opening and closing operations, enhanced with a secure self-locking mechanism.

Ideal Working Environment:

Positioned at altitudes not surpassing 1000 meters;

The ambient temperature remains favorably between a maximum of +40°C and a minimum of -30°C;

Outdoor wind speeds are maintained at or below 35 meters/second;

Ensuring seismic activity stays below 8 degrees, while the installation site remains free from recurrent severe vibrations.

The installation locale should be devoid of harmful gases, chemical deposits, salt mist, dust, dirt, or any other explosive or corrosive substances that could significantly impair the switch's insulation and conductivity.

Installation, Use, and Precision Adjustment

Thorough Pre-installation Procedures

  1. Efficiently eliminate any dust and dirt from components, ensuring the insulating porcelain bottle surfaces are meticulously cleaned.
  2. Diligently scrub the wiring surfaces of the ground screw to ensure pristine contact.
  3. Generously apply a coat of industrial Vaseline to all rotating components and contact zones, ensuring smooth operation.
  4. Inspect the contact surface meticulously and fine-tune the compression spring height to align with the specifications in Table II, ensuring optimal contact pressure.
  5. This switch is exclusively designed for hoisting applications and pairs impeccably with transformers along the line.
  6. The rated current spectrum for this switch spans 200-400 ampere hours, typically requiring three mounting holes. For 600-1000A, three mounting holes are standard.

Annual Maintenance: Ensure the following switch components are meticulously checked every year:
Diligently clear any debris from conductive parts, contact surfaces, and the surface of insulating porcelain bottles.

Conduct a detailed inspection of all components for signs of damage, with particular attention to the insulating porcelain bottle for any damage or cracks.

Confirm the contact surface of the conductive part is in optimal condition.
