Product Description

(H)GWBEB type outdoor high-voltage isolation switch, known for its robust performance and reliability, is expertly crafted for deployment on 10(12, 15, 24)kV high voltage power transmission and distribution lines. Its main function is to seamlessly open and close single-phase or three-phase circuits, managing these operations safely without load, yet fully energized.

Engineered specifically for single-phase applications within three-phase line systems, this switch is celebrated for its straightforward design, affordability, and user-friendly operation. It boasts rated currents ranging from 200 to 1250 amps, making it versatile for various applications. The switch is composed of a sturdy base, durable post insulators, efficient conductive parts, and a reliable mechanical section. The circuit's open-close actions are enabled by a gate knife structure, where each phase has two conductive blades, complemented by external compression springs for optimal contact pressure. The switch's operation is facilitated with an insulated hook stick, featuring a self-locking device for enhanced safety.

Working Environment:

Reliable operation at altitudes not exceeding 1000 meters;

Designed to withstand ambient temperatures: with a maximum not surpassing +40°C and a minimum not dipping below -30°C;

Capable of sustaining outdoor wind speeds not exceeding 35 meters/second;

Built to endure seismic intensity not exceeding 8 degrees, ensuring stability at installation sites with minimal to no severe vibrations.

Ideal for installation in environments free from gases, chemical deposits, salt mist, dust, dirt, or other explosive or corrosive agents that could significantly impair the switch's insulation and conductivity.

Installation, Use and Adjustment

Pre-installation work

  1. Ensure all components are free from dust and dirt, meticulously cleaning the insulating porcelain bottle's surface for optimal performance.
  2. Thoroughly clean the wiring surface of the ground screw to ensure excellent conductivity.
  3. Apply a protective layer of industrial Vaseline to all rotating and contact parts to prevent wear and ensure smooth operation.
  4. Carefully inspect the contact surface, adjusting the compression spring height to meet the specified contact pressure as outlined in Table II.
  5. This switch is exclusively designed for hoisting applications in conjunction with transformers along the line, enhancing operational efficiency.
  6. For rated currents between 200-400 amps, typically three mounting holes are utilized; for 600-1000A, three mounting holes are similarly employed.

Conduct an annual check of the following switch parts to maintain optimal condition:
Diligently remove any dirt accumulation from conductive parts, contact surfaces, and the insulating porcelain bottles' surface to ensure reliable performance.

Inspect all components for potential damage, with particular focus on the insulating porcelain bottle for any cracks or fractures.

Verify the integrity of the contact surface on the conductive part to maintain efficient electrical conductivity.
