(H)GWBEB type outdoor high-voltage isolation switch, widely recognized as an isolation disconnect switch, is meticulously engineered for deployment on 10(12, 15, 24)kV high voltage power transmission and distribution lines. It expertly manages the opening and closing of single-phase or three-phase circuits, ensuring performance without load while voltage remains present.
Designed for precise single-phase operation within three-phase line systems, this switch is defined by its straightforward design, affordability, and user-friendly nature. It comes in a variety of rated currents including 200, 400, 600, 800, 1000, and 1250 amps. Each switch is an assembly of a robust base, post insulators, conductive components, and a mechanical section. It features an innovative gate knife structure for efficient circuit opening and closing. Every phase’s gate knife is equipped with dual conductive blades and external compression springs on each side. Spring height adjustments ensure optimal contact pressure for the gate knife's operation. An insulated hook stick facilitates the opening and closing maneuvers, complemented by a dependable self-locking device.
Working Environment:
Optimally designed for installation at altitudes not surpassing 1000 meters;
The ambient temperature range: with a peak not exceeding +40°C and a trough not falling below -30°C;
Engineered to withstand outdoor wind speeds up to 35 meters/second;
Endures seismic forces up to 8 degrees; the installation locale must remain free from frequent severe vibrations.
The installation area should be devoid of gases, chemical deposits, salt mist, dust, dirt, or any other explosive or corrosive mediums, which can critically impact the switch’s insulation and conductivity.
Note:
SHOULD THE CONDITIONS FOR NORMAL USE EXTEND BEYOND THE STATED LIMITS, USERS ARE ENCOURAGED TO DISCUSS ALTERNATIVES WITH THE COMPANY.
Installation, Use, and Adjustment
Pre-installation work
Conduct an annual inspection of the following switch parts to maintain top performance:
Remove any accumulated dirt from conductive parts, contact surfaces, and the insulating porcelain bottle’s surface to preserve conductivity and insulation.
Examine all components for any signs of damage, with special emphasis on checking the insulating porcelain bottle for damage or cracks.
Ensure the contact surface of the conductive components remains in optimal condition.
