Product Description

Beierbian Group Co., Ltd presents the (H)GWBEB type outdoor high-voltage isolation switch, also known as an isolation disconnect switch. This specifically engineered device is perfect for deployment on high voltage power transmission and distribution lines ranging from 10(12, 15, 24)kV. It is expertly crafted to allow the opening and closing of single-phase or three-phase circuits without load but with voltage present, ensuring safe and reliable operation.

This switch is uniquely intended for single-phase use within three-phase line systems. Its design boasts a simple structure, making it both cost-effective and easy to use. The switch is available in a variety of rated currents, including 200, 400, 600, 800, 1000, and 1250 amps, catering to diverse needs. The switch's components include a robust base, sturdy post insulators, high-quality conductive parts, and a precise mechanical section. A sophisticated gate knife structure facilitates seamless circuit opening and closing. Each phase's gate knife is composed of two conductive blades, secured by external compression springs on each side. Adjusting the spring height allows for optimal contact pressure for the switch's gate knife. An insulated hook stick makes the opening and closing operations straightforward, complemented by a reliable self-locking device for enhanced safety.

Working Environment:

The switch is designed for altitudes not exceeding 1000 meters;

It can operate within a broad ambient temperature range: a maximum of +40°C and a minimum of -30°C;

It withstands outdoor wind speeds of up to 35 meters per second;

The switch is resilient against seismic activities, tolerating a seismic intensity not exceeding 8 degrees, with a recommendation for installation in sites free from frequent severe vibrations.

For optimal performance, the installation site must be devoid of gases, chemical deposits, salt mist, dust, dirt, or other explosive or corrosive mediums that could significantly affect the switch's insulation and conductivity.

Installation, Use and Adjustment

Pre-installation work

  1. Initiate by carefully removing dust and dirt from all components, paying special attention to the surface of the insulating porcelain bottle, ensuring they are meticulously clean.
  2. Thoroughly scrub the wiring surface of the ground screw to ensure proper conductivity.
  3. Apply a generous layer of industrial Vaseline to the rotating parts and contact areas to maintain smooth operation.
  4. Carefully check the contact surface and adjust the height of the compression spring to ensure the contact pressure aligns with the specifications given in Table II.
  5. This switch is engineered exclusively for hoisting use and is ideally used in tandem with transformers on the line for efficiency.
  6. The switch is available with a rated current of 200-400 amperes, typically utilizing three mounting holes. The 600-1000A variants also use three mounting holes for enhanced stability.

Regular annual inspection is essential—check the following switch components meticulously:
Consistently remove dirt from conductive parts, contact surfaces, and the surface of insulating porcelain bottles to ensure peak performance.

Inspect all components for any signs of damage, with particular attention to the insulating porcelain bottle for any damage or cracks that might impair functionality.

Assess whether the contact surface of the conductive parts maintains good condition for reliable operation.
