Product Description

Introducing the (H)GWBEB type outdoor high-voltage isolation switch, an innovative and essential component for high voltage power transmission and distribution lines. This remarkable device, also known as an isolation disconnect switch, is engineered to seamlessly open and close single-phase or three-phase circuits without interrupting the voltage. Perfectly suited for 10(12, 15, 24)kV applications, this switch guarantees reliability and efficiency.

Designed specifically for single-phase use within three-phase line systems, this switch excels due to its straightforward structure, affordability, and user-friendly operation. With available rated currents of 200, 400, 600, 800, 1000, and 1250 amps, it is adaptable to various needs. The switch's construction includes a robust base, durable post insulators, reliable conductive parts, and a precise mechanical section. Utilizing a gate knife structure, it effectively controls the circuit flow. Each phase incorporates two conductive blades complemented by external compression springs, adjustable to secure optimal contact pressure. Operated effortlessly with an insulated hook stick and equipped with a self-locking device, this switch embodies practicality and safety.

Working Environment:

The switch is designed for altitudes not exceeding 1000 meters, ensuring dependable performance.

Capable of withstanding a broad range of temperatures, it operates efficiently with a maximum ambient temperature of +40°C and a minimum of -30°C.

Engineered to resist high winds, the switch endures outdoor wind speeds up to 35 meters per second, preserving its integrity.

Tested for resilience, the switch can withstand seismic intensities up to 8 degrees, making it suitable for stable installation sites free from frequent severe vibrations.

The installation environment should be free of gases, chemical deposits, salt mist, dust, and other contamination that might impair insulation and conductivity, ensuring the switch's optimal performance.

Installation, Use and Adjustment

Pre-installation work

  1. Prior to installation, ensure all parts are free from dust and dirt. Meticulously clean the surface of the insulating porcelain bottle for optimal performance.
  2. Thoroughly scrub the wiring surface of the ground screw to ensure a clear connection.
  3. Apply a protective layer of industrial Vaseline to all rotating parts and contact areas to maintain smooth operation.
  4. Inspect the contact surfaces and adjust the height of the compression spring to ensure the contact pressure aligns with the specifications in Table II.
  5. This switch is exclusively designed for hoisting use and is best used in tandem with transformers on the line, offering superior functionality.
  6. For optimal installation, the switch uses three mounting holes for rated currents of 200-400 ampere hours, while 600-1000A currents also utilize three mounting holes.

Regular annual inspections are recommended to ensure the switch's continued excellence:
Diligently remove any dirt from the conductive parts, contact surfaces, and the insulating porcelain bottle to maintain electrical integrity.

Examine all components for potential damage, with particular focus on checking for any damage or cracks in the insulating porcelain bottle.

Verify that all conductive part contact surfaces are in optimal condition to ensure smooth electrical flow.
