Product Description

(H)GWBEB type outdoor high-voltage isolation switch, widely recognized as an isolation disconnect switch, is meticulously crafted for high-stakes applications on 10(12, 15, 24)kV high voltage power transmission and distribution lines. It efficiently facilitates the opening and closing of both single-phase and three-phase circuits without load, while voltage remains present, ensuring unwavering safety and performance.

Tailored specifically for single-phase applications within three-phase line systems, this switch stands out with its streamlined design, exceptional affordability, and user-friendly operation. With a range of rated currents available, including options of 200, 400, 600, 800, 1000, and 1250 amps, these switches comprise a robust base, steadfast post insulators, reliable conductive components, and an efficient mechanical section. The innovative gate knife mechanism, comprising two conductive blades and equipped with external compression springs on both sides, allows seamless opening and closing of circuits. By adjusting the spring height, optimal contact pressure is ensured for the gate knife's functionality. An insulated hook stick facilitates the opening and closing actions, complemented by an intuitive self-locking device, ensuring ease and reliability.

Working Environment:

Altitude not exceeding 1000 meters; this ensures optimal performance in various terrains and landscapes.

Ambient temperature range: a maximum of +40°C to a minimum of -30°C; this span accommodates a variety of climate conditions.

Outdoor wind speed should not exceed 35 meters/second; a specification ensuring stability and reliability in windy conditions.

Seismic intensity is capped at 8 degrees; the installation site must be free from frequent severe vibrations, guaranteeing structural integrity.

The installation site must remain free from gases, chemical deposits, salt mist, dust, dirt, and any other explosive or corrosive mediums that could significantly compromise the switch's insulation and conductivity, ensuring lasting performance.

Installation, Use and Adjustment

Pre-installation work

  1. Thoroughly remove dust and dirt from all components, paying particular attention to the insulating porcelain bottle's surface for a flawless finish.
  2. Carefully scrub the wiring surface of the ground screw to ensure efficient conductivity.
  3. Apply a fine layer of industrial Vaseline to the rotating parts and contact areas, enhancing longevity and smooth operation.
  4. Inspect the contact surface and meticulously adjust the height of the compression spring to comply with Table II, ensuring precise contact pressure.
  5. This switch is designed exclusively for hoisting use and is intended to work in harmony with the transformer on the line, providing unparalleled synergy.
  6. For rated currents of 200-400 ampere hours, typically three mounting holes are utilized. Similarly, 600-1000A configurations also employ three mounting holes to ensure stability.

Ensure to regularly inspect the following switch parts annually:
Diligently remove any dirt from the conductive parts, contact surfaces, and the insulation porcelain bottle surface to maintain optimal performance.

Conduct thorough checks for any damage across all components, with a particular focus on identifying potential damage and cracks in the insulating porcelain bottle.

Verify the integrity and condition of the contact surface of the conductive part to ensure consistent conductivity and performance.
