CHBEB's pioneering single-phase pole-mounted transformers, meticulously designed and crafted by Daelim, serve as essential tools for stepping down utility distribution voltages from a range of 2400V to a substantial 34,500V to more manageable, lower utilization voltages. While these formidable transformers are adept at converting voltages for commercial and industrial applications such as 277V, 240/480V, 2400V, and 4800V, their primary role is to efficiently step down to a single-phase voltage of 120/240V. This versatility extends their application to small substations and other varied uses, as well as stepping up voltages when necessary.
CHBEB proudly manufactures two distinct types of single-phase pole-mounted transformers: the traditional conventional type and the innovative Completely Self-Protected (CSP) type. Both varieties boast power ratings reaching up to a robust 167kVA.

- High Efficiency: These transformers are crafted to meet the rigorous DOE Energy Efficiency Standards and even surpass the stringent ANSI/IEEE and CSA standards.
- Standard Features: Our transformers are equipped with ISO 9001 quality certification, convenient lifting lugs, arrester mounting pads, high-voltage porcelain bushings with reliable eyebolt terminals, low-voltage bushings with secure eyebolt terminals, and comprehensive low-voltage neutral grounding straps.
- Self-Protected (CSP) Design: The CSP units are fortified with advanced protection features, including primary protective links, surge arresters, secondary circuit breakers, emergency overload reset handles, and intuitive overload signal lights.
- Durability and Safety: Engineered with a self-venting and resealing cover assembly, ensuring the transformer's safe and reliable operation over the long term.
Operating Environment:
- Ambient Temperature: This device supports a maximum ambient temperature of +40°C and a minimum of -15°C.
- Altitude: Suitable for installations at altitudes not exceeding 1000 meters.
- Humidity:
- Daily average relative humidity: Maintained at ≤95%
- Monthly average relative humidity: Controlled at ≤90%
- Seismic Intensity: Designed and tested to endure seismic intensities of up to 8 degrees.
- Installation Conditions: The installation environment should be devoid of fire, explosions, severe vibrations, chemical corrosion, and heavy pollution to ensure optimal performance.
