The (H)GWBEB type outdoor high-voltage isolation switch, commonly referred to as an isolation disconnect switch, is expertly engineered for application on 10(12, 15, 24) kV high voltage power transmission and distribution lines. This switch allows for seamless opening and closing of single-phase or three-phase circuits where no load is present, yet voltage remains active. Its versatility and robustness make it an essential component in high voltage applications.
Designed specifically for single-phase use within three-phase line systems, this switch stands out due to its straightforward structure, cost-efficiency, and user-friendly operation. It is available in a range of rated currents: 200, 400, 600, 800, 1000, and 1250 amps. The switch is composed of a base, post insulators, conductive components, and a mechanical section, ensuring reliability. It utilizes an innovative gate knife structure for circuit operations. Each phase's gate knife incorporates two conductive blades, supported by external compression springs on both sides, allowing for precise adjustment of spring height to achieve optimal contact pressure. Operation is simplified with an insulated hook stick and a convenient self-locking device, enhancing safety and functionality.
Working Environment:
Installation altitude must not exceed 1000 meters;
Ambient temperature range: maximum +40°C; minimum -30°C;
Outdoor wind speed should not surpass 35 meters/second;
Seismic intensity not above 8 degrees; installation sites should be free from frequent severe vibrations, ensuring stability and safety.
The installation site must be free from gases, chemical deposits, salt mist, dust, dirt, or any explosive or corrosive mediums that might significantly impair the switch’s insulation and conductivity, safeguarding its integrity.
Note:
WHEN NORMAL USE CONDITIONS ARE EXCEEDED, CUSTOMERS ARE ADVISED TO CONSULT WITH THE COMPANY FOR POSSIBLE ADJUSTMENTS OR SOLUTIONS.
Installation, Use and Adjustment
Pre-installation work
Annually inspect the switch’s components, including:
Remove debris from conductive parts, contact surfaces, and insulating porcelain bottle surfaces to maintain efficiency.
Conduct a thorough check for damage across all components, with special attention to the insulating porcelain bottle for potential damage or cracks, ensuring ongoing reliability.
Verify that the contact surfaces of conductive parts remain in optimal condition to prevent operational failures.
