Product Description

CHBEB's single-phase pole-mounted transformers are designed and produced by Daelim and are commonly used to step down utility distribution voltages (ranging from 2400V to 34,500V) to lower utilization voltages. While some are used to step down to commercial and industrial voltages such as 277V, 240/480V, 2400V, and 4800V, most are used for stepping down to a single-phase voltage of 120/240V. These transformers are also used in small substations and for miscellaneous applications, as well as to step up voltages when necessary.

CHBEB manufactures two types of single-phase pole-mounted transformers: the conventional type and the Completely Self-Protected (CSP) type. These transformers have power ratings up to 167kVA.

• Self-Protected (CSP) Design: The CSP units include additional protection features such as primary protective links, surge arresters, secondary circuit breakers, emergency overload reset handles, and overload signal lights.
