Product Description

(H)GWBEB type outdoor high-voltage isolation switch, elegantly engineered as an isolation disconnect, is crafted for seamless operation on 10(12, 15, 24)kV high-voltage power transmission and distribution lines. This switch is skillfully designed to open and close both single-phase and three-phase circuits without load while voltage is present, ensuring optimal performance in demanding environments.

Tailored for single-phase use in robust three-phase line systems, this switch boasts a simple yet effective design, offering unmatched cost-effectiveness and effortless usability. Available in a range of rated currents from 200 to 1250 amps, these switches are composed of a sturdy base, durable post insulators, finely-crafted conductive parts, and a reliable mechanical section. The innovative gate knife structure facilitates smooth circuit operations, with each phase incorporating two conductive blades, complemented by external compression springs on both sides. Adjusting the spring height delivers the precise contact pressure required for the gate knife's optimal function. The switch is effortlessly operated using an insulated hook stick for seamless opening and closing, and is equipped with a dependable self-locking device for enhanced safety.

Working Environment:

Ideal for altitudes not exceeding 1000 meters, ensuring reliable performance in elevated locations.

Capable of withstanding ambient temperatures, with a maximum of +40°C and a minimum of -30°C, guaranteeing functionality in both warm and cold climates.

Designed to endure outdoor wind speeds not surpassing 35 meters/second, perfect for areas with occasional strong winds.

Built to withstand seismic intensity up to 8 degrees, ensuring stability even in regions prone to moderate seismic activity. Installation sites should remain free from frequent severe vibrations for optimal operation.

Installation sites must be clear of gases, chemical deposits, salt mist, dust, dirt, or other explosive or corrosive substances that may compromise the switch's insulation and conductive capabilities, thus preserving its efficient functionality.

Installation, Use, and Adjustment

Pre-installation work

  1. Meticulously cleanse all components of dust and dirt, with special care taken to gently wipe the surface of the insulating porcelain bottle, ensuring a pristine start.
  2. Thoroughly scrub the wiring surface of the ground screw to guarantee optimal connectivity.
  3. Apply a fine layer of industrial Vaseline to the rotating parts and contact areas, promoting smooth operation and preventing wear.
  4. Inspect the contact surface and adeptly adjust the compression spring height to align with the specifications in Table II, ensuring precise contact pressure for reliable performance.
  5. This switch is exclusively crafted for hoisting use, seamlessly integrating with transformers on the line to deliver exceptional results.
  6. The rated current for this switch spans 200-400 ampere hours, typically utilizing three mounting holes. For currents of 600-1000A, three mounting holes are consistently employed to ensure secure installations.

Conduct an annual assessment of the following switch components:
Thoroughly cleanse the conductive parts, contact surfaces, and insulating porcelain bottles, maintaining pristine conditions for optimal performance.

Inspect all components for any signs of damage, with particular attention paid to the integrity of the insulating porcelain bottle to prevent any cracks or damages.

Ensure the contact surface of the conductive part maintains excellent condition, guaranteeing enduring and stable connectivity.
