The (H)GWBEB type outdoor high-voltage isolation switch, which is often referred to as an isolation disconnect switch, is expertly crafted to function on 10(12, 15, 24)kV high voltage power transmission and distribution lines. It is adept at opening and closing single-phase or three-phase circuits while sustaining voltage, but without load, making it essential for efficient power management and reliability.
This switch is specially designed for single-phase operations within three-phase line systems, offering simplicity, affordability, and user-friendly handling. It is available in a range of rated currents: 200, 400, 600, 800, 1000, and 1250 amps. The switch is comprised of a sturdy base, robust post insulators, highly conductive components, and a mechanical section. It employs a precise gate knife mechanism for circuit operation. Each phase's gate knife features dual conductive blades with external compression springs on both sides. The necessary contact pressure for the gate knife is achieved by finely adjusting the spring height. An insulated hook stick facilitates the switch's operational maneuvers, and a self-locking device ensures secure usage.
Working Environment:
This switch is designed to operate efficiently at altitudes not exceeding 1000 meters, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
It is engineered to function within a broad range of ambient temperatures, with a maximum of +40°C and a minimum of -30°C, accommodating various climatic conditions.
The switch withstands outdoor wind speeds up to 35 meters/second, maintaining its integrity and operational stability.
It is built to endure seismic intensities up to 8 degrees, provided that the installation site does not experience frequent intense vibrations, ensuring durability and safety.
The installation site must be free from gases, chemical deposits, salt mist, dust, dirt, or other explosive or corrosive mediums that could severely impair the switch’s insulation and conductivity, guaranteeing long-lasting performance.
Note:
WHEN THE USAGE CONDITIONS SURPASS THE NORMAL PARAMETERS AS DESCRIBED, USERS ARE ENCOURAGED TO DISCUSS ALTERNATIVE SOLUTIONS WITH THE COMPANY TO ENSURE CONTINUED EFFECTIVENESS.
Installation, Use and Adjustment
Pre-installation work
Conduct an annual examination of the following switch components:
Diligently remove dirt from conductive components, contact surfaces, and insulating porcelain bottles to maintain seamless operation and avoid any disruptions.
Inspect all parts for any potential damage, giving special attention to the insulating porcelain bottles for any cracks or breaks that could compromise safety and functionality.
Examine the conductive components to ensure the contact surfaces maintain their intended quality and efficiency.
