Product Description

Introducing the (H)GWBEB type outdoor high-voltage isolation switch, commonly known as an isolation disconnect switch-a pinnacle of engineering excellence tailored for 10(12, 15, 24)kV high voltage power transmission and distribution lines. This sophisticated switch is adept at opening and closing single-phase or three-phase circuits effortlessly, even when voltage is present, but without the load. Developed for outdoor use, it ensures the seamless flow of electricity across the grid with unparalleled reliability.

Crafted for single-phase applications within three-phase line systems, this switch stands out for its straightforward design, budget-friendly nature, and user-friendly operation. It accommodates a diverse range of rated currents from 200 to 1250 amps, making it versatile for various applications. The switch comprises a robust base, durable post insulators, efficient conductive parts, and a reliable mechanical section. Its innovative gate knife structure ensures smooth circuit operation, with each phase integrating dual conductive blades enhanced by external compression springs. Adjusting these springs optimizes the contact pressure, ensuring perfect connectivity. Utilizing an insulated hook stick for operations, the switch incorporates a self-locking device for secure handling.

Working Environment:

Designed for altitudes up to 1000 meters;

Temperature resilience: functions optimally between +40°C and -30°C;

Built to withstand outdoor wind speeds of up to 35 meters/second;

Constructed to endure seismic intensities up to 8 degrees; ideal for locations with minimal severe vibrations.

The installation site must be free of gases, chemical residues, salt mist, dust, dirt, and other explosive or corrosive substances that could compromise the switch's insulation and conductivity.

Installation, Use and Adjustment

Pre-installation work

  1. Thoroughly clean and polish all components, ensuring every insulating porcelain bottle surface is immaculate.
  2. Meticulously scrub the ground screw wiring surface for optimal connectivity.
  3. Apply a protective coat of industrial Vaseline to moving parts and contact areas to enhance longevity.
  4. Conduct a detailed examination of the contact surface, adjusting the compression spring height to align with Table II's contact pressure standards.
  5. This switch is exclusively tailored for hoisting applications and is intended to operate in synergy with transformers on the line.
  6. The switch's rated current spans 200-400 ampere hours, typically utilizing three mounting holes, with 600-1000A configurations also employing three holes.

Annual Maintenance Checklist: Ensure optimum performance with regular yearly inspections of the following components:
Thoroughly remove any accumulated dirt from conductive parts, contact surfaces, and insulating porcelain bottle surfaces.

Inspect all components meticulously for any signs of damage, focusing especially on insulating porcelain bottles for any cracks or breaches.

Verify the integrity of the conductive part's contact surface to maintain seamless electrical flow.
