Product Description

The (H)GWBEB type outdoor high-voltage isolation switch, also revered as an isolation disconnect switch, is engineered for seamless performance on 10(12, 15, 24)kV high voltage power transmission and distribution lines. It masterfully opens and closes single-phase or three-phase circuits with voltage present, without load, ensuring reliability and safety.

Designed for precision, the switch is tailored for single-phase operations within three-phase line systems. It boasts a straightforward structure, cost-efficiency, and user-friendly interface. It offers versatile rated currents, including 200, 400, 600, 800, 1000, and 1250 amps. The switch is composed of a robust base, durable post insulators, conductive components, and a sophisticated mechanical section. Featuring a gate knife mechanism for circuit operations, each phase's gate knife showcases two conductive blades, complemented by external compression springs on either side. These springs are adjustable in height to ensure optimal contact pressure. The switch operation is effortlessly executed with an insulated hook stick, featuring an integrated self-locking device for enhanced security and stability.

Working Environment:

Positioned at altitudes not surpassing 1000 meters, the switch ensures optimal function.

Designed for diverse climates, the switch operates within an ambient temperature range of a maximum of +40°C and a minimum of -30°C.

Engineered to withstand natural forces, the switch operates efficiently in outdoor wind speeds not exceeding 35 meters per second.

Constructed for resilience, the switch can endure seismic activities of up to 8 degrees, with an installation site free from frequent intense vibrations.

The installation locale should be devoid of harmful gases, chemical sediments, salt mist, dust, dirt, or any explosive or corrosive substances that might compromise the switch's insulation and conductivity.

Installation, Use and Adjustment

Pre-installation work

  1. Thoroughly eliminate any dust and dirt from all components, with meticulous care taken to cleanse the surface of the insulating porcelain bottle.
  2. Diligently clean the wiring surface of the ground screw to ensure optimal conductivity.
  3. Apply a protective layer of industrial Vaseline to all rotating mechanisms and contact surfaces to ensure seamless operations.
  4. Inspect the contact surface meticulously and adjust the compression spring's height to align contact pressure with the specifications detailed in Table II.
  5. This switch is exclusively designed for hoisting applications and is intended to operate in conjunction with transformers on the line.
  6. For this switch, rated currents of 200-400 ampere hours generally utilize three mounting holes, while 600-1000A applications also employ three mounting holes for secure and stable installation.

Conduct an annual examination of the switch's following parts for maintenance and efficiency:
Thoroughly clean any accumulated dirt from conductive sections, contact surfaces, and the insulating porcelain bottle's exterior.

Conduct a comprehensive inspection for any damage across all parts, with particular attention to the insulating porcelain bottle for potential damage and cracks.

Verify that the contact surfaces of the conductive parts remain in excellent condition for reliable performance.
