Product Description

(H)GWBEB type outdoor high-voltage isolation switch, also referred to as an isolation disconnect switch, is meticulously engineered for seamless operation on 10(12, 15, 24)kV high voltage power transmission and distribution lines. It enables the smooth opening and closing of single-phase or three-phase circuits without load, while voltage remains present. This switch is an excellent choice for ensuring electricity transmission efficiency.

The switch is crafted for single-phase use within three-phase line systems, boasting an elegantly simple structure that is both cost-efficient and user-friendly. Rated currents on offer include 200, 400, 600, 800, 1000, and 1250 amps. This robust switch design incorporates a sturdy base, resilient post insulators, superior conductive parts, and a precision-engineered mechanical section. The gate knife structure ensures reliable circuit operation, with each phase's gate knife featuring two conductive blades complemented by compression springs on both sides. The innovative spring height adjustment mechanism ensures optimal contact pressure for the gate knife. Smooth operation is achieved using an insulated hook stick for seamless opening and closing actions, enhanced by a sophisticated self-locking device.

Working Environment:

Altitude constraints: The switch is designed for installations where the altitude does not exceed 1000 meters.

Ambient temperature range: Maximum temperature should not exceed +40°C, while the minimum should not dip below -30°C, ensuring functionality in varied climatic conditions.

Wind conditions: Built to withstand outdoor wind speeds up to 35 meters per second.

Seismic resilience: Engineered to operate in regions with seismic intensity not exceeding 8 degrees, making it suitable for stable installation sites without frequent severe vibrations.

Protection against environmental factors: It is crucial that the installation site remains free from gases, chemical deposits, salt mist, dust, dirt, and other explosive or corrosive mediums that could compromise the switch's integrity and performance.

Installation, Use and Adjustment

Pre-installation work

  1. Thoroughly remove dust and dirt from all components, ensuring the insulating porcelain bottle's surface is clean and pristine.
  2. Carefully scrub and clean the wiring surface of the ground screw to ensure optimal connectivity.
  3. Apply a generous layer of industrial Vaseline to all rotating parts and contact areas to ensure smooth, frictionless operation.
  4. Inspect the contact surface and meticulously adjust the compression spring height to meet the standards set in Table II, ensuring optimal contact pressure.
  5. This switch is optimized for hoisting use and is to be utilized in conjunction with transformers on the line, maximizing efficiency.
  6. The rated current for this switch ranges between 200-400 amperes, typically employing three mounting holes, while the 600-1000A versions also utilize three mounting holes for secure installation.

Annual Maintenance Checklist: Regular annual inspections are essential to ensure the switch's longevity and efficiency.
Conduct routine removal of dirt from conductive parts, contact surfaces, and the insulating porcelain bottle's surface to maintain performance.
