The (H)GWBEB type outdoor high-voltage isolation switch, often referred to as an isolation disconnect switch, is meticulously engineered for deployment on 10(12, 15, 24)kV high voltage power transmission and distribution lines. Its primary function is to open and close single-phase or three-phase circuits without load, though voltage remains present. This robust switch is integral for ensuring power continuity and safety in high-tension environments.
Primarily designed for single-phase application within three-phase line systems, this switch stands out for its uncomplicated structure, affordability, and user-friendly operation. It accommodates a spectrum of rated currents: 200, 400, 600, 800, 1000, and 1250 amps, catering to diverse electrical demands. The switch's composition includes a sturdy base, reliable post insulators, conductive components, and a mechanical section. Utilizing a gate knife design for circuit engagement, each phase's gate knife comprises dual conductive blades, reinforced with external compression springs. By adjusting spring height, optimal contact pressure for the gate knife is ensured. Operated via an insulated hook stick, the switch features a self-locking mechanism, enhancing safety and functionality.
Working Environment:
Suitable for altitudes not surpassing 1000 meters; ensuring reliable performance at various elevations.
Designed to withstand ambient temperatures with a maximum not exceeding +40°C and a minimum not going below -30°C, making it versatile for diverse climatic conditions.
Operable in outdoor environments with wind speeds up to 35 meters/second, maintaining stability even in gusty conditions.
Resilient to seismic intensities up to 8 degrees; ideal for locations with minimal severe vibrations.
Installation sites must be free of gases, chemical deposits, salt mist, dust, dirt, and other explosive or corrosive substances that could compromise the switch's insulation and conductivity.
Note:
WHEN THE SPECIFIED NORMAL USE CONDITIONS ARE SURPASSED, USERS HAVE THE OPTION TO DISCUSS ALTERNATIVES WITH THE COMPANY.
Installation, Use and Adjustment
Pre-installation work
Annual inspections should focus on the following components of the switch:
Thoroughly clean dirt from conductive parts, contact surfaces, and the insulating porcelain bottles' exterior, preserving performance.
Examine all parts for potential damage, with a particular focus on identifying any issues or cracks in the insulating porcelain bottles.
Ensure the contact surface of the conductive parts remains in optimal condition for efficient electrical conduction.
