The (H)GWBEB type Outdoor High-Voltage Isolation Switch, also known as an Isolation Disconnect Switch, is expertly engineered for deployment on 10(12, 15, 24)kV high voltage power transmission and distribution systems. It is designed to seamlessly open and close single-phase or three-phase circuits while maintaining voltage presence, but without load. This robust switch embodies reliability and precision in high-voltage management.
Specifically crafted for single-phase applications within three-phase line systems, this switch is lauded for its straightforward design, economic efficiency, and user-friendly operation. Available in a range of rated currents—200, 400, 600, 800, 1000, and 1250 amps—these switches are composed of a sturdy base, durable post insulators, conductive components, and a mechanical section. The circuit is made or broken using a gate knife structure, where each phase's gate knife boasts dual conductive blades supported by external compression springs. By adjusting the spring height, the necessary contact pressure for optimal switch performance is achieved. Operating this switch involves the use of an insulated hook stick for safe and efficient opening and closing maneuvers, bolstered by a self-locking device for enhanced security.
Working Environment:
Designed for altitudes not exceeding 1000 meters;
It withstands ambient temperature conditions, with a maximum limit of +40°C and a minimum of -30°C;
Resilient against outdoor wind speeds up to 35 meters/second;
Built to endure seismic activity up to 8 degrees, with installation sites requiring minimal exposure to frequent severe vibrations.
The installation environment must be free from gases, chemical deposits, salt mist, dust, or dirt, as well as other explosive or corrosive mediums that could severely compromise the switch's insulation and conductivity.
Note:
WHEN NORMAL USE CONDITIONS ARE EXCEEDED, USERS ARE ENCOURAGED TO ENGAGE IN NEGOTIATION WITH THE COMPANY FOR CUSTOM SOLUTIONS.
Installation, Use and Adjustment
Pre-installation Work
Conduct an Annual Inspection on the Following Switch Components:
Routinely remove any accumulated dirt from conductive parts, contact surfaces, and the insulating porcelain bottles' exterior to maintain integrity.
Examine all parts for potential damage, giving special attention to the insulating porcelain bottle to detect any damage or cracks that might compromise usability.
Ensure the conductive part's contact surface remains in excellent condition for optimal performance.
