The (H)GWBEB type outdoor high-voltage isolation switch, renowned as an isolation disconnect switch, is meticulously crafted for high voltage power transmission and distribution lines, operating effectively on 10(12, 15, 24)kV systems. Its primary function is to open and close single-phase or three-phase circuits, managing them safely despite the presence of voltage. This is achieved without handling any load, offering reliable operation for demanding electrical environments.
Tailored for single-phase applications within three-phase line systems, this switch stands out due to its straightforward design, affordability, and user-friendly operation. It is available in a range of rated currents spanning 200, 400, 600, 800, 1000, to 1250 amps. The switch's architecture includes a sturdy base, durable post insulators, conductive elements, and a mechanical segment. It employs a gate knife mechanism for efficient circuit transition, where each phase features a gate knife comprising dual conductive blades, augmented by external compression springs on both sides for precision contact pressure. Height adjustments of the springs ensure the switch's gate knife maintains optimal contact pressure. The switch's operation is facilitated by an insulated hook stick for seamless opening and closing, complemented by a reliable self-locking device.
Working Environment:
Designed for altitudes not exceeding 1000 meters;
Operable within an ambient temperature range: maximum +40°C; minimum -30°C;
Capable of withstanding outdoor wind speeds up to 35 meters/second;
Built to endure seismic intensities not exceeding 8 degrees; the installation locale should be free from frequent, intense vibrations.
The installation area must be free from gases, chemical deposits, salt mist, dust, dirt, or any explosive or corrosive mediums that could severely compromise the switch's insulation and conductivity.
Note:
IF NORMAL USE CONDITIONS ARE SURPASSED, USERS ARE ENCOURAGED TO CONSULT WITH THE COMPANY FOR ADVICE AND SOLUTIONS.
Installation, Use and Adjustment
Pre-installation work
Conduct an annual routine inspection on the following switch components:
Regularly remove dirt from conductive parts, contact surfaces, and insulating porcelain bottle surfaces to maintain optimal functionality.
Inspect all components for any signs of damage, placing particular emphasis on checking the insulating porcelain bottle for damage or cracks.
Verify the integrity of the conductive part contact surfaces to ensure consistent performance.
