Product Description

(H)GWBEB type outdoor high-voltage isolation switch, also elegantly known as an isolation disconnect switch, is meticulously crafted for deployment on 10(12, 15, 24)kV high voltage power transmission and distribution lines. Its primary function is to deftly open and close single-phase or three-phase circuits without load, while voltage remains present. This advanced piece of technology ensures seamless power distribution management.

The switch is precisely engineered for single-phase operation within three-phase line systems, boasting attributes of simplicity, cost-effectiveness, and ease of operation. Available in an impressive array of rated currents-200, 400, 600, 800, 1000, and 1250 amps-these switches are comprised of robust components including a sturdy base, resilient post insulators, superior conductive parts, and a sophisticated mechanical section. Employing a gate knife structure for efficient circuit modulation, each phase's gate knife features dual conductive blades complemented by external compression springs on either side. The design allows for seamless adjustment of spring height to achieve optimal contact pressure. The operation is executed with precision using an insulated hook stick, enhanced by a self-locking device for secure functionality.

Working Environment:

Altitude: The installation site should be at an altitude not exceeding 1000 meters;

Ambient temperature: The parameters welcome a maximum of +40°C and a minimum of -30°C, ensuring performance across diverse climates;

Wind endurance: Outdoor wind speeds should gracefully remain below 35 meters/second;

Seismic resilience: The installation site should withstand seismic intensity levels not exceeding 8 degrees, safeguarding against frequent severe vibrations.

Environmental Purity: The site must be devoid of gases, chemical deposits, salt mist, dust, dirt, or any other explosive or corrosive substances that could significantly impair the switch's insulation and conductive capabilities.

Installation, Use, and Adjustment

Pre-installation Work

  1. Begin by meticulously removing dust and dirt from all parts, followed by a thorough and careful wiping of the insulating porcelain bottle's surface, ensuring pristine conditions.
  2. Gently scrub the wiring surface of the ground screw to ensure optimal conductivity and secure connections.
  3. Apply a protective layer of industrial Vaseline to the rotating parts and contact areas, ensuring smooth and efficient operation.
  4. Inspect the contact surface diligently and adjust the height of the compression spring so that the contact pressure aligns perfectly with Table II specifications.
  5. This switch is engineered for exclusive hoisting applications and is intended to be harmoniously used alongside transformers on high-voltage lines.
  6. For rated currents between 200-400 amperes, typically, only three mounting holes are used. For currents of 600-1000A, three mounting holes similarly suffice, ensuring robust installation.

Annual Maintenance: Conduct a yearly thorough inspection of the following elements of the switch:
Carefully remove any dirt from conductive parts, contact surfaces, and the insulating porcelain bottle's exterior to maintain optimal condition.

Meticulously check all components for damage, prioritizing the examination of the insulating porcelain bottle for potential damage or cracks.

Ensure the contact surface of the conductive part remains impeccable, safeguarding superior performance.
