Product Description

(H)GWBEB type outdoor high-voltage isolation switch, also known as an isolation disconnect switch, is expertly crafted for use on 10(12, 15, 24)kV high voltage power transmission and distribution lines. Its primary function is to seamlessly open and close single-phase or three-phase circuits without affecting the load even when voltage is present.

The switch is specifically designed for single-phase usage within three-phase line systems, standing out with its simplistic design, cost-efficiency, and user-friendly operation. Available rated currents include a range of 200, 400, 600, 800, 1000, and 1250 amps, offering versatile solutions for varied needs. Each switch is composed of a sturdy base, robust post insulators, efficient conductive parts, and a precise mechanical section. The switch features an innovative gate knife structure that effectively opens and closes the circuit. Each phase's gate knife consists of dual conductive blades, complemented by external compression springs on both sides. By adjusting the spring height, you can achieve the optimal contact pressure for the switch's gate knife. This switch is conveniently operated using an insulated hook stick for both opening and closing actions, and it includes a reliable self-locking device.

Working Environment:

Installation altitude should not exceed 1000 meters, ensuring optimal performance.

The ambient temperature must be within: a maximum of +40°C and a minimum of -30°C, accommodating a broad range of climatic conditions.

The outdoor wind speed should not surpass 35 meters/second, safeguarding the switch's stability.

Seismic intensity must not exceed 8 degrees, and the installation site should remain free from frequent severe vibrations, ensuring unwavering reliability.

The installation site should be free of harmful gases, chemical deposits, salt mist, dust, dirt, or any other explosive or corrosive mediums that could severely impact the switch's insulation and conductivity, thus ensuring long-lasting durability.

Installation, Use and Adjustment

Pre-installation work

  1. Ensure to meticulously remove dust and dirt from all parts, and diligently clean the surface of the insulating porcelain bottle, safeguarding its integrity.
  2. Thoroughly scrub the wiring surface of the ground screw for impeccable connectivity.
  3. Apply a protective layer of industrial Vaseline to rotating parts and contact areas, ensuring smooth operation and longevity.
  4. Inspect the contact surface and adjust the height of the compression spring to ensure the contact pressure aligns with Table II, guaranteeing optimal performance.
  5. This switch is specifically designed for hoisting use and is seamlessly integrated with the transformer on the line, ensuring efficient operation.
  6. The rated current for this switch varies from 200-400 ampere hours, typically utilizing three mounting holes, whereas the 600-1000A range also employs three mounting holes, offering flexibility for diverse applications.

Conduct a thorough annual check of the following parts:
Ensure that all dirt is removed from conductive parts, contact surfaces, and the surface of insulating porcelain bottles, maintaining pristine condition and performance.

Inspect all components for any damage, focusing particularly on the insulating porcelain bottle for any potential damage and cracks, securing lasting durability.

Examine the contact surface of the conductive part to ensure it is in excellent condition, promoting reliable operation.
