Product Description

Introducing the (H)GWBEB type outdoor high-voltage isolation switch, an exceptional isolation disconnect switch crafted for supreme performance on 10(12, 15, 24)kV high voltage power transmission and distribution lines. This remarkable switch ensures the safe opening and closing of single-phase or three-phase circuits, even amidst the presence of voltage, without any load.

Designed specifically for single-phase use within three-phase line systems, this switch is the epitome of simplicity, affordability, and user-friendliness. It supports an impressive range of rated currents: 200, 400, 600, 800, 1000, and 1250 amps. The switch's architecture includes a sturdy base, resilient post insulators, efficient conductive parts, and a robust mechanical section. Utilizing a sophisticated gate knife structure, it effortlessly opens and closes circuits. Each phase’s gate knife is composed of two conductive blades, ingeniously equipped with external compression springs on each side. By adjusting the spring height, the required contact pressure for the switch’s gate knife is precisely achieved. Operation is conducted effortlessly with a specialized insulated hook stick, and the switch’s design includes a convenient self-locking device for enhanced safety.

Working Environment:

Designed for altitudes not exceeding 1000 meters, this switch is engineered for high performance.

Withstands ambient temperatures ranging from a chilly -30°C to a scorching +40°C, ensuring functionality in diverse climates.

Capable of enduring outdoor wind speeds up to 35 meters/second, making it robust against nature's forces.

Built to handle seismic intensity up to 8 degrees; ideal for locations devoid of frequent severe vibrations.

To maintain optimal insulation and conductivity, the installation site should be free from gases, chemical deposits, salt mist, dust, dirt, or any explosive or corrosive environments that might compromise the switch's effectiveness.

Installation, Use, and Adjustment

Pre-installation work

  1. Meticulously remove any dust and dirt from all components, ensuring the insulating porcelain bottle is thoroughly wiped for a pristine finish.
  2. Carefully scrub the wiring surface of the ground screw to ensure perfect conductivity.
  3. Apply a protective layer of industrial Vaseline to all rotating parts and contact areas to maintain seamless functionality.
  4. Conduct a thorough check of the contact surface and adjust the compression spring height to ensure the contact pressure adheres to the standards outlined in Table II.
  5. This switch is purpose-built for hoisting applications and is ideally used in conjunction with transformers on the line.
  6. With a rated current range from 200-400 ampere hours, typically employing three mounting holes, the 600-1000A version also utilizes three mounting holes for secure attachment.

Conduct an annual inspection of the following switch components to ensure longevity and reliability:
Diligently remove dirt from conductive parts, contact surfaces, and insulating porcelain bottle surfaces to guarantee optimal performance.

Inspect all components for potential damage, with particular attention to detecting any harm or cracks in the insulating porcelain bottle.

Verify the integrity of the conductive part’s contact surface for uninterrupted operation.
