(H)GWBEB type outdoor high-voltage isolation switch, commonly referred to as an isolation disconnect switch, is ingeniously crafted for application on 10(12, 15, 24)kV high voltage power transmission and distribution lines. This switch serves the crucial function of opening and closing single-phase or three-phase circuits under no-load conditions while maintaining voltage presence.
Engineered specifically for single-phase applications within three-phase line systems, this switch is distinguished by its uncomplicated structure, economic efficiency, and user-friendly operation. Available in an array of rated currents, including 200, 400, 600, 800, 1000, and 1250 amps, these switches are composed of a base, post insulators, conductive components, and a mechanical section. The circuit is opened and closed using an innovative gate knife structure, where each phase's gate knife features two conductive blades complemented with external compression springs. These springs, positioned on both sides, are finely adjustable to ensure optimal contact pressure for the switch's gate knife. Operated through an insulated hook stick for both opening and closing maneuvers, the switch is designed with an intrinsic self-locking mechanism to enhance safety and reliability.
Working Environment:
Altitude Requirement: The site should be at an altitude not exceeding 1000 meters;
Temperature Tolerance: The ambient temperature must not rise above +40°C or drop below -30°C;
Wind Resistance: The outdoor wind speed should remain below 35 meters per second;
Seismic Considerations: The installation area should experience seismic intensity not exceeding 8 degrees; additionally, the location should be free from frequent intense vibrations.
Environmental Conditions: The installation site must be devoid of gases, chemical deposits, salt mist, dust, dirt, or any explosive or corrosive substances that could adversely affect the switch's insulation and conductive capabilities.
Note:
IMPORTANT NOTICE: SHOULD THE ABOVE-STATED NORMAL USE CONDITIONS BE SURPASSED, USERS ARE ENCOURAGED TO DISCUSS ALTERNATIVE ARRANGEMENTS WITH THE COMPANY.
Installation, Use and Adjustment
Pre-installation work
Ensure regular annual inspections of the following switch components:
Diligently remove any accumulated dirt from conductive parts, contact surfaces, and the surface of insulating porcelain bottles to maintain optimal performance.
Conduct a thorough inspection of all parts for any signs of damage, with a particular emphasis on identifying damage or cracks in the insulating porcelain bottle.
Assess whether the contact surfaces of the conductive parts remain in pristine and functional condition.
