(H)GWBEB, a meticulously engineered type of outdoor high-voltage isolation switch—often referred to as a disconnect switch—is purpose-built for 10(12, 15, 24)kV high voltage power transmission and distribution networks. This switch facilitates the seamless opening and closing of single-phase or three-phase circuits, efficiently managing operations without load yet with voltage present.
Designed specifically for single-phase use within three-phase line systems, this switch boasts a straightforward architecture, delivering cost savings and user-friendly operation. Offering a range of rated currents including 200, 400, 600, 800, 1000, and 1250 amps, these switches are composed of a robust base, durable post insulators, conductive components, and a precise mechanical section. The innovative gate knife structure ensures effective circuit management for opening and closing activities. Each phase is equipped with a dual-blade gate knife, supported by external compression springs on both sides. The contact pressure necessary for optimal operation is adjustable via the spring height. An insulated hook stick is employed for operational actions, ensuring ease of use, and a self-locking device ensures additional safety.
Working Environment:
Altitude not exceeding 1000 meters is ideal for optimal performance.
The ambient temperature is critical: it should not exceed +40°C at its highest, nor drop below -30°C at its lowest.
Outdoor wind conditions should remain under a speed of 35 meters/second.
The location should withstand a seismic intensity not greater than 8 degrees, and must be free from frequent severe vibrations, for stability and reliability.
The installation site must be clear of harmful gases, chemical deposits, salt mist, dust, dirt, and any other explosive or corrosive substances that could compromise the switch's insulation and conductivity.
Note:
WHEN NORMAL USE CONDITIONS AS SPECIFIED ARE EXCEEDED, USERS CAN ARRANGE A CONSULTATION WITH THE COMPANY TO DISCUSS CUSTOMIZED SOLUTIONS.
Installation, Use and Adjustment
Pre-installation work
Conduct annual checks of the following switch components:
Thoroughly clean dirt from conductive parts, contact surfaces, and the insulating porcelain bottles to maintain efficiency.
Inspect all components for any signs of damage, particularly focusing on the insulating porcelain bottle for potential damage or cracks.
Ensure the contact surface of the conductive part remains impeccable.
