(H)GWBEB type outdoor high-voltage isolation switch, also heralded as an isolation disconnect switch, is meticulously engineered for deployment on 10(12, 15, 24)kV high-voltage power transmission and distribution lines. It is adept at opening and closing single-phase or three-phase circuits while the voltage remains present, yet without load.
This switch is masterfully crafted for single-phase applications within three-phase line systems, standing out due to its straightforward construction, cost efficiency, and user-friendly design. It is available in rated currents of 200, 400, 600, 800, 1000, and 1250 amps. The switch comprises a base, post insulators, conductive elements, and a mechanical segment, boasting a gate knife structure for effective circuit operation. Each phase’s gate knife features dual conductive blades, fortified with external compression springs on both sides. Spring height adjustment fine-tunes the required contact pressure for optimal gate knife function. Operated with an insulated hook stick, the switch also includes a self-locking mechanism for reliable performance.
Working Environment:
Optimal performance is ensured at altitudes not exceeding 1000 meters;
Enjoy a wide operational temperature range: maximum not exceeding +40°C; minimum not dropping below -30°C;
Designed to withstand outdoor wind speeds up to 35 meters/second;
Built to endure a seismic intensity not surpassing 8 degrees; the installation site should remain stable and free from frequent, severe tremors.
The installation site must be free from gases, chemical deposits, salt mist, dust, dirt, or other explosive or corrosive mediums that might severely compromise the switch's insulation and conductivity.
Note:
WHEN THE ABOVE NORMAL USE CONDITIONS ARE EXCEEDED, THE USER IS ENCOURAGED TO NEGOTIATE WITH THE COMPANY FOR CUSTOM SOLUTIONS.
Installation, Use and Adjustment
Pre-installation work
Annually, perform regular inspections on the following switch components:
Diligently remove any dirt from conductive parts, contact surfaces, and the surface of insulating porcelain bottles to maintain superior function.
Conduct a thorough examination of all parts for potential damage, with particular focus on detecting damage or cracks in the insulating porcelain bottle.
Verify that the contact surface of the conductive part is in optimal condition for uninterrupted performance.
